"Brought some friends visiting from Australia here for an authentic but modern Parisian experience. The Wednesday night jazz sessions are pure class. Our entrées were sensational, particularly the langoustine ravioli which was a work of art almost too beautiful to eat. Dessert was a chocolat fondant designed to be shared between two... and even then it was a challenge to get through its dense gooey goodness. Old school bistro elegance and lavish interiors are counterbalanced with a sunny, covered terrasse. I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and thoughtful the staff were. Wednesday night jazz is a must different musicians every week, featuring the best of the Parisian scene. In true David Lynch style, and just like its nightclub sister venue opened ten years earlier, Silencio Des Près also has a cinema complex. So nice to have such a progressive and creative establishment in the heart of Saint Germain."
