"Really odd restaurant. Does not deserve the high rating. At closer look the inconsistent and startlingly different reviews are important. Can’t help but wonder if the person who commented that the extremely good reviews may be fake is correct that they’re fake (note that the 5 star ratings have no photos). The food is NOT good. The salad vinaigrette tastes like kitchen cleaner. Spicy pasta in beef is not the way to do Asian fusion. “Seasoned” rice is plain white rice with a few shrimp and vegetables no taste. The seafood curry is fine but nothing more than an unimaginative coconut milk very tiny bit of seafood, fish, scallops and shrimp all tasted the same so probably was frozen seafood. Crème brûlée dessert was liquid and bad taste. The decor of the resto is very nice and the man is pleasant enough. Would have said it’s at least a very pleasant space to sit but it’s very unpleasant that there were a bunch of flies at our table throughout the meal."

"Après de nombreuses minutes d'errance dans un Quartier pourtant peuplé de restau mais tous archi blindés (un mardi soir!), le Xin Gainian nous a permis de goûter à la cuisine "fusion" de l'Asie. L'accueil a été très courtois et aimable du début à la fin, la prise de commandes rapide et efficace. Les prix des plats sont très intéressants et nous étions toutes deux contentes de nos choix (terryaki de saumon et wok de porc). L'endroit est calme et propice aux discussions. Certes la présentation n'est pas digne d'un Grand restaurant mais on y mange bien et on ressort rassasié sans s'être fait plumer. C'est ce qu'on cherchait ce soir là."
