"Pas mon genre d'endroit. Le bar / taverne avait des clients hurlants et bruyants un jour où il n'y avait personne autour. Vraiment un menu dégustation, assiette pour adolescents, portions pour adolescents, mauvais rapport qualité / prix. La serveuse m'a dit que les poivrons verts dans ma chaudrée de palourdes étaient doux - ils ne l'étaient pas et devaient cracher avec une bouche brûlante. Vraiment gênant quand j'ai été traité. Au lieu de cela, ils m'ont donné des asperges. Votre seul légume. Ils n'ont pas remarqué que mon verre d'eau était vide et j'ai dû le demander. Des bancs sans dossier pour s'asseoir dans la taverne / bar, mais vous pouvez demander une chaise inconfortable. Pas un endroit où vous, comme moi, mangez beaucoup de protéines et de légumes sains. Je n'aime pas quitter un restaurant où je me sens gonflé de trop de nourriture, mais je ne veux pas non plus avoir faim. Le café était bon après le repas."

"La nourriture était délicieuse, comme c'est toujours. Les prix sont un peu élevés, mais les repas que j'ai avaient toujours été super. Cependant, cette fois-ci, nous sommes arrivés à quelques minutes après l'ouverture du restaurant et c'était une belle journée. Nous avons donc demandé à nous asseoir à l'extérieur avec l'autre couple que nous sommes arrivés. Ils ont dit que toutes les tables extérieures ont été prises par d'autres réserves, bien que la plupart des tables sont restées vides tout le temps où nous étions là-bas, ce qui était super décevant"

"A big thank you to Sam and Gigi for making my luncheon such a hit! My husband and I hosted a bridal shower party for 40 guests on 'the patio ' last Saturday afternoon, and it was picture perfect. Once everyone arrived, appetizers were served family style, with generous platters of Gigi 's meatballs (so good, iykyk), calamari, and burrata crostini set down at each table. Next came the house salad, then guests had a choice of 3 entrees. Our menu had a selection of homemade ravioli, salmon with sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes, or chicken piccata in a lemon caper sauce with a potato cake: delicious. The menu included soft drinks, cafe Americano, tea, and we opted to offer guests wine or beer if they wished. It was just a lovely day, sunny and 70s, and the lush patio with its array of potted plants and trees and blooms was the perfect summery setting. Sam and Gigi provided beautiful table cloths and napkins, a long table for gifts and raffles, and an outstanding menu. Menu cards were very pretty, designed by Sam and Gigi 's daughter, and there was one at each place. Every guest who had never been to Bar Cilento is planning on coming back. My girlfriends want to meet there for lunch regularly. The food is excellent, and my 100% Italian aunt complimented Gigi on everything! As a Cilento regular, I have my super fave servers, and we were well taken care of by Kevin, Tanya, and a shout out to Sean who was on his third day working there and was a terrific understudy to his awesome senior staffers. All I had to do was show up, put flowers on the table, and have the sheet cake refrigerated. It was hassle free, and my daughter in law loved it as much as the guests. "Since I have been home bound due to surgery and disappointed by these new fangled food apps I have to say that this was the most well priced, tasty, home cooked meal I have had in such a long time. Kudos to La Rosa's. Friendly, reliable and worth every thing. I will be calling every week for supper even after I am allow to drive and go back to work. Thank you for realizing it is all in the way you treat your customers as real people."

"The Philly cheesesteak, loaded with peppers, onions, and cheese, was the best I've ever had! And believe me, I've been to Pat's and Geno's in Philly, so I know all about REAL cheese versus cheese whiz. Sometimes you might pay a little extra (around $0.50) for provolone, but this sandwich was exceptional. I'm not sure if they marinate the steak or use special spices, but the vegetables were crisp and the steak was perfectly cooked—not overdone at all. It’s a must-try! I’m not too focused on the pizza since I'm trying to eat healthily, but I do indulge in a "fat sandwich" from time to time (gotta treat myself, right?). The staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking. If you're in the area, whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to check this place out. It's perfect for a quick stop!
