30 Main Bistro - Carte

This is our preferred restaurant in Berwyn! We tried a volcano arancini appetizer, a beet and arugula salad with salmon, and the short rib dinner. Everything was amazing! The food was outstanding, and the owners were extremely friendly.

Great food, even better service, at reasonable prices. We got here early in the evening and were the only customers outside of a wedding party. Not only were we treated like VIPs, the owner/chef stopped by for our evaluation of the food and the service. We had high praise for both.

Stopped in for dinner over the weekend. Overall our experience was okay. Our starter came out with our entrees which was a bit odd but not a huge deal. The calamari was very good, and the pizzas were okay. Our waiter was attentive. I would say maybe other entrees are more tasty and worth a try, but the pizzas were pretty average. Voir le carte

What can I Say except I love this place! Perhaps I've been here 40 times and I've never had a bad meal. In fact the food is outrageously good. Where shall I begin: I love the pizza, the gnocchi is amazing, bronzino you just have to try it. Tonight we went for a simple, salmon dish, Burger and pizza. Amazing food. Consistent. Owner who cares and nice staff. What else can you ask for?! Also you can always could on really great live music!!

We have a great evening sitting in the outdoor nicely heated tent. We had a chance to chat with some of the workers and while their spirits are high, the fatigue of the ever changing rules is exhausting. My heart truly broke for them. We had been visiting a couple other local places that day, so we weren't starving. But I ordered the shrimp and filet skewers, while it's an appetizer, it could easily be a meal. The filet tips were so good, packed with flavor and very tender. The wild rice it was served over was perfectly cooked. I heard about their Friday free pizza special and decided to take advantage of it. The offer is only available for curbside pick-up, but if you order any menu item, you get a free pizza with basic toppings. You can also pre-order, and their ordering service was efficient. I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and a pepperoni pizza. I arrived early, expecting to wait, but my order was ready 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The egg rolls were hot and crispy, served on a bed of lettuce. They didn't come with a sauce, but they were delicious on their own - full of juicy meat, creamy cheese, and perfectly fried shells. During my visit at 6:00pm, I was able to take advantage of the Happy Hour discounts even in the dining room, thanks to a gracious server. The menu offers a wide variety of options including small tapas-style plates and standard-sized entrees. I highly recommend the small plate crab cakes, which were fresh and perfectly broiled with four different delicious sauces. The pizza of the day, white pizza with prosciutto and caramelized onions, had a slightly overcooked crust but delicious flavors. We chose 30 Main for a pre-wedding family gathering because they had the space for a large party in their outdoor tent (we wanted to minimize potential COVID exposures where we could). They had set us up indoors because it appeared to want to rain, but after we explained the situation (and the lack of rain on the radar) they happily set us up in the tent. We had our own private space. The food was excellent, especially the short ribs (which everyone ate up completely) and the chicken Parmesan (crisp but not greasy). I attend 30 Main for the 1st time last night, as a treat for my birthday. From the moment my party walked in, it was a pleasant experience. We waited about 2 minutes, before a lovely little lady greeted us with a warm smile welcomed us to the restaurant. She gave us the option to have a intimate dinner inside, or enjoy our dinner in the back where they have a Live band seating. She let us know that she's the Mother of the owners, so we were in good hands. She actually took us on a mini walk around the corner of the 30 Main, and it looked beautiful.
