"I have dined there twice, and both times, the food was exceptional. This has become my go-to spot for an affordable meal that tastes like it was made by a five-star chef. The staff is wonderful and incredibly friendly. The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the dishes. A couple can enjoy dinner along with a few beers and a mixed drink for around $40. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their delicious menu!"

"My husband I both got the Tour of Italy, my mother got Chicken Marsala, my daughter got fettuccine Alfredo, the other got a kids pizza. The breadsticks were cold hard, the salad was mostly core, the entrees were absolutely disgusting. The lasagna had a gray appearance was barely warm, the fettuccine was dry, the chicken parmigiana was burned. Within 24 hours everyone had stomach pains diarrhea. I’m pretty positive that we got food poisoning because that is the only food we had eaten that day."

"This diner is a great spot for hardworking folks, boasting a menu that caters to all tastes! The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially the $6.99 Early Bird Breakfast. They also offer lunch specials every day. Don’t miss out on the freshly made onion rings—they're a must-try! I opted for a hearty club sandwich loaded with meat and had the delicious onion rings on the side. The club sandwich was exceptional, featuring thick layers of meat nestled between buttered toast, topped with lettuce and tomatoes. The mayo was served on the side but wasn't really necessary. My wife enjoyed a thick, juicy burger paired with crinkle-cut fries. The photos speak for themselves—just take a look! The diner itself is small and clean, with a charming, old-fashioned counter and booths. The staff is friendly and attentive; the waitresses seem to know everyone, and even if they don’t, they treat all patrons like old friends. Be sure to check out the extensive menu; there’s something for everyone. And remember—don’t skip the onion rings!"

"pleasantly surprised; Chips and salsa were a good start. The salsa had a good taste, but could have had a little more kick. My daughter said the Enchiladas were good and my wife said their eggs and chorizo were also good. I had the steak Mexicano with vegetables instead of rice and beans. The steak was pretty good and the topping was really good; the Veggies were however a STEEP degradation of quality. The service was very good!!!"

"The food arrived quickly, as expected for a BBQ joint where much of the food is precooked. However, I was a bit surprised to find no rib on my plate. When I checked my order, I realized the person taking my order hadn’t rung it up. No harm done, but I missed out on trying a rib. Now, onto the tasting experience, coming from someone who has had quite a bit of BBQ over the years: The beans had a wonderful smoky and sweet flavor with good depth, but unfortunately, they were slightly undercooked—just a bit too chewy for my liking. The potato salad was nothing special, resembling what you’d find in many places that treat potato salad as an afterthought. It was bland, devoid of any tang or tartness, and also undercooked—some bites were quite hard. The pickles were decent; it seems Oklahoma Joe's chooses a good brand, so that was a plus. The toast, on the other hand, was the highlight of the meal. It was lightly toasted and served hot, just the way I like it. As for the bologna, it was both undersmoked and undercooked. Unless you are preparing it from scratch, the key elements for bologna are seasoning and smoke, both of which were lacking here. The slice was about a quarter-inch thick and cut into quarters, probably to avoid the embarrassment of serving just one thin slice. Honestly, there was probably less than 50 cents worth of bologna on the plate. The pork was disappointing as well. I've had outstanding pulled pork, and I've also had the kind that was cooked in a crock pot with liquid smoke. This one was only slightly better than the latter—lacking richness, flavor, and served barely warm. It was a significant letdown. The water, however, was perfect—cold and plentiful, so that’s a small positive. I’ve heard that the food is smoked at a location in Tulsa and then brought here, which raises a huge red flag for me. I wanted to give them a fair chance, but unfortunately, they did not deliver. For a total of $18.50, I cannot recommend this place. There are definitely better options around town. It's hard to believe, but Oklahoma Joe's even made Rib Crib look good, and I never thought I’d say that."
