Nice very clean rooms in a older historic hotel in the center of the city. Staff is wonderful. Great location. Restaurant is very good. A/C works well. What more could you want.

we have supper with traditional broth cappellets (and abundant portions) and a traditional appetizer of meats accompanied by an excellent superior Sangiovese. friendly and warm service, helpful staff and distinguished enough. price suitable for quality and service.

We chose to stay two nights in Lugo as a jumping off point to visit nearby Ravenna. We were extremely happy with our choice of hotel. Everyone from the kind front staff Michele who was very attentive to our needs as first time visitors to Lugo to the restaurant staff who were very professional (the menu variety was beyond expectations) to the house cleaning staff. What a wonderful stay this year.

After a long drive from Brindisi we arrived and found the charming old Hotel Ala d'Oro. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, dinner was excellent, along with the house red wine! Buffett breakfast also excellent. Finally, a big thank you to Michael for patiently activating the TV, so we could watch the opening Olympics ceremony. Excllent customer service! Definitely recommend this hotel in Lugo!
