It's a peaceful spot with welcoming people, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I visited on a Wednesday and enjoyed a fantastic musical group. We had a wonderful time, and I will definitely be returning!

I ordered a sampler platter and fries along with two sodas, which totaled $30 before tip. I found the sampler to be quite disappointing for the price. It included two potato skins that were decent, but overall it felt underwhelming.

I came here for lunch, and the menu is fantastic! There are plenty of rooms and tables, plus a tent for outdoor seating. It's a wonderful local restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I never really considered stopping here for lunch before, but I'm so glad I did, and I highly recommend it! Voir le carte

Hot pork sandwich and Italian sausage and pepper sandwich are both good. Fries available for an upcharge. Portions of fries are very small. Hardly anyone was in the place when we were there, but service was still slow. The nice outdoor furniture that was there until recently has now been replaced with uncomfortable picnic tables. Used to be a place to go to regularly. Not any more.

As newcomers to the area, we've tried out several local small businesses, including restaurants and bars. We finally visited Alden Cafe, and it was nothing short of amazing! Trying out new places can sometimes feel a bit intimidating, but the entire staff was welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The bartenders were attentive, and we never had to wait for our drinks. The food was delicious and freshly made! We’ll definitely be making this our regular spot from now on!

Of the 37 years I've lived in the area, this was my first time visting the Alden Cafe. The place was empty and not much going on. We were there about 8pm on a Saturday evening too. I've since been back a few times and have actually stayed to hang out and have some food. One major plus, they have fried pickles! I've also tried the buffalo wings (medium) and they are phenomenal!! Absolutely way better than the Jug Handle. The place seems to always be filled with the usual bar flies and sometimes service can be a bit slow, but we usually grab a table to ourselves and enjoy the food. Definitely give the Alden a shot if you're looking for some good, local wings!! Voir le carte
