"Fantastic options on sushi with tons to choose from. They have special daily made rolls and also their regular menu options. Absolutely give the spicy, tuna, avocado appetizer a try. They are crispy little bites that you and your table mates will be fighting over. They also have hibachi and regular dinners, but just a few. Not tons of seating, so if you don’t feel like waiting, come at an off time. We went at dinner time and we waited maybe five to ten minutes."

"What an absolute let down of a Mexican restaurant. My wife and I have ordered takeout from this place at least five times now and I have gotten different things each time. I am not picky about food and will eat just about anything, but the food here is somehow amazingly bland. No matter what I get, it tastes like food product of the unflavored variety, or like a machine made this great looking food and ran out of flavoring. And on top of that, they can't even get the orders right, causing one of us to head back, which is a massive pain.We were super excited to get a Mexican takeout place in this area because we both love Mexican food, but fool me once, shame on you, fool me five times, well, that's on me for so desperately wanting to love this place, hoping the last time was just a fluke It's officially a pattern now.I will say the staff always seems friendly, even when busy, so one additional star for that. But I am sad to say, I cannot recommend this place and I am officially done with trying. It's always busy, so maybe I'm in a minority. Give it a shot, I suppose, but I'm done."

"I fail to see how this establishment has the reviews it's received. I had scrambled eggs, ham (so thin you could see through it), sourdough bread, and fruit. My husband had an omelet, raisin bread, and fruit. My eggs and his omelet were swimming in butter/grease, awful. The fruit was fresh, and service was good. There was a combination of waitresses who waited on us. My husband left a generous tip because he felt they deserved it, hopefully the cook didn't get any of it…"

"Gluten and soy-free diner here. Ate dinner last night on their side patio, and my Aunt and I had a delicious meal. Thank you for letting me know about your call-ahead option. Brilliant idea! I tried the pan-seared sea scallops with truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus, and their were generous amounts of all 3. My aunt enjoyed her halibut fish fry, and we each had a nice glass of wine. Unfortunately there were no gluten-free dessert options last night, but our server made sure to bring that to my attention when I asked. And last, but certainly not least, Juneau Elizabeth was very comfortable on your side patio. Thank you for that, and we will be back, sooner rather than later!"

"The dining room has been nicely updated and is generally comfortable. The ambiance was enhanced by the warm glow of the fireplace and the faux candles on the tables. The inside of the exterior door could use a fresh coat of paint, but we were really there for the food. The menu was quite extensive, and this is where Mandy's truly stands out. The food quality is excellent, the portions are generous, and many dishes are homemade. The chicken tenders, made from real chicken breast with light breading, are handmade in-house. The hand-cut fries are small, crispy, and delicious. The chicken quesadilla was one of the best we've ever had. Plus, you can't beat their slice of cheesecake with cherries priced at just $2.75. The prices are fair, the service is above average, and we really enjoyed our dining experience overall. We'll definitely be back, as it’s clear that Mandy's values quality and value. Just remember to bring cash since they don't accept credit cards (there's an ATM on site). **UPDATE 1:** We stopped by a second time but it was busy, so we sat in the bar area where we had the bonus of watching the Sabres game. The service was friendly, and the food was just as tasty as before—consistently good. Plus, they offered free popcorn (yum). They also have special nights with deals like $0.50 wings. I’ve posted updated pictures of the bar and specials board. **UPDATE 2:** We enjoyed another wonderful meal. We like stopping by whenever we're in the area. The bathrooms could use some improvement, but the food remains fresh and feels like homemade cooking, if not better. Our server, Casey, was genuine and incredibly nice—efficient and quick, too. The fresh-cut fries are thin and delicious, and the portion sizes are great. **UPDATE:** On our latest visit, we wanted to dine outdoors and were pleasantly surprised to discover that Mandy's has outdoor seating and a small outdoor bar. The service was top-notch, the portions were still fantastic, and the prices were attractive. The homemade chicken fingers are quite large, reminiscent of a fish fry! The fresh-cut fries were tasty, and the BBQ chicken wings were pretty good, though I found the sauce a bit on the sweeter side."
