"This is the type of place where you walk into and everyone turns and stares at you. If you want a warm welcome from a friendly staff member, you won 't get it here. Did my waitress know her job? Absolutely. Was she nice and helpful? Absolutely not.We came for the fish fry but did not see it advertised anywhere. We asked what brand root beer they had (my wife has a heart condition and cannot have caffeine, and certain brand of root beer have caffeine) and the waiteess seemed totally annoyed that we even asked a question. Said that it was regular root beer in a bag. Gee thanks for the help. She 's the type of employee that has been at the job for so long that she doesn 't have an ounce customer service left. Got the pretzel sticks just to make it seem like we wanted to be there but we honestly wanted to get out of there so fast. If you 're a regular here then its probably great but don 't recommend to outside people."

The online prices are not accurate. I paid $38 for two tasty burgers without fries and a clam basket. The staff were very friendly.

JJ is an excellent server. She's an asset to the bar. Food selections were good. Drink as well. We will visit again when we are in the area!

Archey's were great hosts for our VFW Group from Kentucky. We had dinner there and came back for breakfast. The only recommendation we could suggest is that they learn how to make Sweet tea for us Southerners. LOL Seriously, we thank them and we will recommend other VFW Posts who come to the National Home, go visit Archey's.

Took a neighbor to Archey's Bar Grill for his birthday ? he ordered the olive burger with sweet potato fries, and I ordered the wet burrito. I must admit, looking at that olive burger fries had me drooling!? Of course mine was good, huge...made for 2 filling meals. The service was quick, pleasant and definitely will be back!
