"We had a wonderful experience in which to celebrate my girlfriend's 75th birthday. Our food was delicious and the temperature was on point! My friends had never had the postickers with the Asian slaw and they were blown away by how good it was. Everything else after was a delicious. Shout out to our waiter, JR, who was fantastic."

"Food: 4, service: 1. Been having lunch here on Tuesdays and Fridays for over two years. Often joined by a friend on Tuesday. The Pho and rolls served are good—nothing particular to rave about. Just goo Pho and usually fast. However, Pho 5Up recently opened another site and move most of the experienced staff to that location. Now there seems to be a rotating manager and staff the last three weeks. Today's service was terrible. Ordered spring rolls to start with and they came out before tableware and water. The Pho arrived and I had to ask for the sprouts and basil plate as well as a fork. Water glass was never refilled. I have noticed several empty tables the last few weeks including today. Probably be looking for another lunch place until they get sorted out."

"I absolutely loved this place! All of the staff were so nice. I'm not sure if he was the owner, manager, etc. But someone was walking around greeting all the diners. My guest and I had already finished our food, but he invited us to stay. Most people seemed to know him and some even hugged him. This us a huge plus for me because he seems to be well integrated and part of the community. This goes to show how amazing the customer service is.The food was also a 10/10. I loved every single thing I ate. The crab and corn soup was almost as good as my mom's. The fish was fried to perfection. The outside was crispy just how I like it. The greens and fried green tomatoes were delicious. My bf loved the ribs and sweet potatoes. The ribs fell off the bone and had a smoked flavor. We didn't love the drinks.Overall, I don't live close but I still 100% be back for the great food and service."

"Absolutely excellent experience. We were seated quickly and received water and chips/salsa immediately. Our waiter didn’t pressure us to order quickly, but came by at solid intervals to see if we needed help and then take our orders. The food came out perfectly cooked. I had the chori-pollo and a beef street taco, both dishes were prepared exactly how I wanted them. Someone else in my party ordered the fajitas and they came out perfectly as well. The street tacos were the ideal size to order 2-3 for an adult and be completely full. The portions for each dish were generous, easily sufficient to fill up an adult man. The service was excellent as well, our waiter ensured all of our needs were met promptly. We stayed for approximately 90 minutes and never felt pressured to hurry up or pay the check and leave. Would absolutely go back, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to try something new on the menu."

"My wife and I moved to Maryland from NY. We were friends with the owners of a local sushi restaurant called Wild Ginger. With the bar set high we’ve searched for a sushi place that was a close second and received recommendations from people in our neighborhood. Of all the places we’ve tried, Yama has reset the bar (DO NOT let the location discourage you . They far exceeded our expectations. Our waiter Peter was phenomenal, quite honestly the best waiter we’ve had anywhere. He was incredibly knowledgeable about my wife gluten allergy (medically diagnosed celiacs disease and was able to accommodate her across the menu making her experience there 10000000000x better than anywhere else we’ve ever gone (she usually has to explain every detail of her allergy to the wait staff and gets a feet in the headlights look where ever we go; Peter at Yama beat her to the punch! . Highest recommendation, if you go ask for Peter. He works 6 days a week and his dedication to his job is obvious. If you tell Peter what you like and give him good honest feedback he will know exactly which way to steer you and it won’t be wrong. He’s also incredibly friendly, personable, and has a great sense of humor. The sushi was so good I forgot to take photos but managed to take one of the many orders we placed."
