This was my first time placing an order, and I will definitely be back for more. The lumpia was crispy, the soup was hot and had the perfect consistency, and the Cajun chicken wrap was delicious. I'm pretty sure this will become my go-to lunch spot!

Arrived just after opening and was seated right away. Staff was attentive. She crab soup was good, but watch out for the shells. Crab cakes are as big as a burger. Oyster sandwich was flavorful. All around good atmosphere, great music for us older people.

Went here with my sister and brother in law Friday evening. I got the she crab soup and my sister got the fried calamari. My she crab soup was delicious, creamy and loaded with crab. The calamari was fishy, tough and over battered and over fried. But wedidn't let it get to us because the bartender was amazing and we still had a good time and the drinks were on point! Stopped by during my stay in Richmond and was super impressed with the food here. Great atmosphere and menu options, too. I got the Cajun Tuna Sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've had in a while. Great seasoning, blackened just right, and tastedfresh. My boyfriend got an oyster sandwich that tasted great too. Good onion rings and house chips as well (both warm andfresh). Would reccomend checking Baron's out.

I absolutely love this place! I went here with a friend who had fond childhood memories of it and highly recommended it. I ordered the cheese fries and a sandwich (although I can’t remember the name), and both were amazing. I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance! The atmosphere feels like a cozy home-style diner but with a bar vibe. The waitstaff is always friendly, and there’s plenty of parking available too!

I ordered the scallops and oyster dinner, and I have to say, they were just as good as anything you could find in the Outer Banks. The seafood was fried to perfection and stayed crisp throughout the entire meal. The service was excellent, and everyone in my group had a wonderful time. This is no small feat given the current challenges in the food industry and staffing shortages.
