"The food here was very tasty! We got the wild boar momo, bread, wild boar ribs, and lamb and mushroom tarkari. All were delicious. The wild boar ribs had almost a bbq like sauce on them that added a sweetness to the dish. The momo were freshly made and the sauce that came with it was great. The tarkari was a bit spicy but so good. Definitely recommend! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and were accommodating for our 2 year old."

This lovely place is tucked away, you could easily miss it! Food was great, a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes, and you can even choose your spice level 1-10. Lovely round tables!

I'd admittedly never had Nepalese cuisine before I went to Base Camp, but boy am I glad I did. The chicken takari is to die for and the staff are amazing in that they let you freely customize the spice level on a scale that is pretty darn hard to beat. An 8 (out of 14? already starts to make you feel things and is usually where I cap off my bravery. But absolutely delicious. Plus, the water they serve glows blue—don't ask me how they do that, it's just cool.
