A health inspector would have likely cited them for that. Additionally, there was a lack of handicap parking. My brother, who is an amputee, had to park across the lot to find accessible parking. The Fish and Chips are excellent and arrive promptly. The Fettuccine Alfredo is also outstanding, featuring flavorful grilled chicken. DoorDash delivered everything hot and delicious. Black Bear is one of the best restaurants/diners in California, and this particular location excels.

I received a salad with poor-quality lettuce, and it didn't come with any dressing. I ordered my tri-tip cooked medium-rare, but it arrived well done. I also requested mashed potatoes with beef gravy on the side, but instead, I got country gravy. Overall, the meal was disappointing and not at all what I had ordered.
