"have enjoyed Mel has been for a few decades, and it is never disappointed! Everything on the menu is great, nothing you can go wrong with. Had a stop at a Sat evening at 5:00 and could get a table within a few minutes. Decorated on their onion rings, fried mushrooms, bacon cheeseburger (normal size!... not the Mel or Mega-Mel) and the Monte Christo. The food is always hot, crispy and not greasy. The hostess and wait staff are super friendly and even tho the waiting staff go what seems like a million miles an hour.. You still care about you! The only Ni-Pick on our meal this time, was with the Monte Christo... they needed to melt the cheese in a sandwich before roasting! This sandwich must be warm inside when you bite, not cool."

"First visit, wife had Plato Vaqueros and I had Plato Guzman. No complaints everything was spot on, hot and tasty ground beef enchilada and taco, shredded chicken taco, etc. I don 't like beans but the charo beans were good. Good portions for the price, service was good. Definitely our new go to spot for Tex Mex please keep it up! 9 Month follow up Been several times since, yesterday had the ground beef tacos, my son the shrimp tacos very well stuffed! both were very good and reasonably priced. Only issue is on my first visit I asked for taco sauce or salsa Mexicana and they brought me Tabasco ?! . I asked if they had any other and they said no, so bring your own! We bring Cholula . Still highly recommend!"

"I returned on November 29, 2023, to try the Grilled Chicken sandwich special, and it did not disappoint! The combination of chicken, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the sausage baked potato, and once again, it was fantastic. The smoked sausage has a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. The BBQ chopped beef potato is a must-try! It's large enough to share between two people (I cut it in half to share), and it is very filling. The onion rings were also excellent. The line can be a bit slow, but it's definitely worth the wait!"

"I have been wanting to try Wholly Crepe for a while now! I live out of state, but I finally made it to this adorable restaurant this week. The decor was captivating, and the owner was kind and courteous. I decided to create my own crepe with grilled chicken, muenster cheese, fresh spinach, and black olives. It was absolutely delicious! My friend and I ended our meal with Napoleons. Even though this is a kitchen that makes everything from scratch, we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. I highly recommend taking a special trip to Tomball just to indulge in a meal here, with company if possible. I am certain everyone will be satisfied!"

"I went here for the first time today with my family. We had a lovely time. Very clean! We had the Birria melt and chicken and waffles. Delicious food! And good homey atmosphere. The owner was so kind to even offer us water as we didn’t have anything to drink, she also asked if we were ok sitting outside as the inside is much cooler. I appreciate also a young man who was walking around maintaining the place clean. When it was time to go he came to our table and offered to take our little trays. I appreciated the warm hospitality ! Will be returning."
