"I'm giving this place of three because of the nice waiter and the location is nice. I also only tried the Mexican food so I don't know what the other food tastes like. When I went at lunch there was a lot of retired people eating there. I drove out of the way to try this place because I was told by people they had good authentic Mexican food. I'm assuming it's people that have never been outside of the area. I was disappointed with the food and the prices for what I received if the food had been authentic the prices would have been worth it. But everything was flavorless and watered down I'm not sure if it was done because most of the guests are primarily elderly from what I saw today. They didn't even have authentic Mexican hot sauce or cheeses on my flautas. The chips were cold they tasted a little stale and the salsa was tasteless and like a tomato puree. It's very Americanized and if that's what you like you'll probably like this place. But for me it wasn't what I was expecting. Better to travel to other places and get Mexican food in the area. I hope they read these reviews because they are Mexican family and I'm sure that they can make better food and if they've watered it down for the area in the population that they're getting I think that's the wrong thing to do. "we were in hut five for my birthday. this holiday home is quite new and is very cozy for a case retreat. there is a gas fireplace, jacuzzi, king-size bed, living room with fridge, fireplace and microwave. this unit also has its own deck with views of the bach. the private sphere and the grounds are a plus. we have made several walks. the caffe is nice for a quick bite. we enjoyed the sticky bungalow and protein pack. the staff was pleasant and helpful. the picture around the jacuzzi is beautiful. we enjoyed our stay very much and will be back in the future. the reasons we couldn't give him five stars: know that the resort is about the current of train tracks. there are not many moves, but we were woken up on Sunday at 8:30 am with the train. not terrible loud, but the bed shook something. while there are domestic touches, the holiday home might be some maintenance. the jacuzzi and the bathroom have to be tasted to prevent mold. the only window with view of the stream has condensation between the plates. the jacuzzi had only two of six jets that worked. Finally, the camein and the whirlpool were hard to find out. instructions contained in a welcome folder in the hut would be helpful. none of them is deal breakers for us. the benefits far outweigh the hiccups. I hope you can enjoy the resort with these informations before the time."

"I usually take my grandkids out once a month to stay in touch and usually will go to Mayapples for this occasion. Tonight when we went in it seemed like our service was slower than usual and turned out it was our server who apparently has been there for awhile but has her own attitude of how she works. A couple on the next table waited to b served and asked her and she was like I’ll get with u. I always leave a 20% tip cuz the food and atmosphere is always great as usual. The restaurant needs to look at their servers and retrain the few who r giving them a bad name. Theirs one server named Chuck who i wish was our server and I’d b happy everytime we go in."

"I don’t generally leave reviews but the cafe (the cafe only—I cannot speak to the restaurant/hotel) consistently has the worst customer service in the area. Every time we go to the cafe, we stand at the register and have difficulty flagging down the employee; we are deliberately ignored. This last time, someone from the back came out and pointed at us before the employee would come over to ring up our order. This happens every time. My family ordered 3 of the sticky buns and when asked said yes, we did want them warmed up with caramel. We waited 15-20 minutes for these pre-made sticky buns to be put on a plate. During our wait, many other families came in and ordered drinks from the cafe. Every single drink was made before our order. When they were brought to us, only one had caramel and none were heated up. At $7 a sticky bun, I did send them back. The employees are always noticeably bothered that someone has come to the cafe. We always tip with our order so I truly cannot understand why someone working in customer service simply cannot provide service to customers."

"Food is good, guys are super friendly and on Fridays it's busy but they're always so pleasant. Glad they have a GF pizza option as well as GF sub rolls thank you! Usually our order is correct but last visit (on an incredibly busy Friday evening) we got a wrong sub. This is the first time out of a bunch of visits so we'll chalk it up to an honest mistake due to being busy and it won't prevent us from ordering again. Not much room inside to sit, so plan on doing take out."
