"I cannot express enough gratitude in words for the experience we got here. We barely get out of the house due to having a toddler, let alone get to celebrate us as much now. We booked Harry’s Steakhouse for our anniversary and they made us feel incredibly special and provided such a wonderful experience that it was just what we needed to take a moment to celebrate us. That was the most expensive steak I have ever purchased, but it was the best steak I have ever had in my life. The wine pairs perfectly with it. The food itself takes you to a whole new level and the service was so incredibly wonderful and welcoming. Hal himself visited us to make sure we were having a good time, which completely made the night even more special. All my friends talked about was how expensive it is and to expect spending around $200, and I think that made us wait longer to go there. Yes, it is easy to celebrate and spend that much, but looking at the menu, there are a lot of appetizer options, along with a burger option, that would make the bill more of a normal going out to eat price. "The hostess that worked on October 19 6:40 didn?t even record my reservation for October 22 6:30 for a party of 4. It was my daughters 21st birthday and she even told me that she will write a note recording her birthday. We get there and tell the gentleman that we are the party of 4 6:30 . He starts looking and tells me that he doesn?t see it . I asked him ? this is the only Skys restaurant here right ? He keeps looking then He tells me there is a reservation for a party of 12 6:30 . Then he tells me we have a table top for 4 at the bar , you can sit there . Im like ?No ? I called and a girl answered and took my reservation. He didn?t even try to make it happen instead he says . You can try other restaurants. So I?m wondering if they bumped my reservation for the party of 12. The guy didn?t even try to make room for us, especially when it?s their fault . He suggested Harry?s . What are the chances that they will have room for us when this restaurant is booked ? Obviously he wasn?t going to make it happen. We go across the street to Harry?s and told them what happened to us at Sky?s and they made it happened being that they were also booked. Go to Harry?s I totally RECOMMEND it . The food was so yummy and the service. The hostess that helped us was so generous and made my daughters 21st birthday night. My daughter was so happy. She even added a birthday sign on the table . Very nice staff ."

"I am unlikely to return to this restaurant. The service was quite poor, and the food was just mediocre. It took nearly an hour for our group of seven to receive our meals, and no one ordered anything that required extensive preparation. We received our appetizers along with the first three meals, but when I requested ketchup, I had to ask for it again when the remaining meals arrived about 15 minutes later. The kids enjoy ketchup with their fries. Additionally, the pea salad was misleading; two of us ordered it but didn’t eat it. Overall, the food felt more like basic bar fare."

"I'm on an incredibly strict diet. Think vegan but with half the normal spices that makes food yummy. So, it's difficult to find restaurants that I can eat at. Ely's Ivy miraculously not only had food for me that was fantastic, but had food for my less restricted family would be willing to eat. I had the arugula salad and almost cried. It was so good. My sister had a die for pumpkin curry soup, my father tried a Camel ???? burger, and my uncle (the fussiest of all of us) had a Shepard pie. Everything was amazing. The server went above and beyond the call if duty for us. He was pleasant and sweet and even found out where the ???? meat came from without us asking. He was perfect for my little eccentric family. When I'm in Grand Forks again, I'm making a stop here for sure ????"

"I live in the Twin Cities and have yet to find any truly good pizza down here. I took advantage of the opportunity to order pizza from Rhombus Guys when I was visiting Grand Forks for a hockey game. Their Detroit style pizza is wonderful and flavorful. I hear they also have it available at a grocery store in Detroit Lakes now, but that's still too far for me to go very often. The drawback of Detroit style pizza there is you cannot have different ingredients on each half of the pizza in case people have different pizza topping preferences. That could be the case elsewhere too. Also, you cannot order a pizza ahead but dine in at the restaurant, which is a pretty small place. So we ate the pizza in our car before the game. Very good pizza!"
