"One of my favorites at the Pearl because the flavors are BIG, and it's just something different. Located in the Pearl bottling hall food court, Mi Roti is a Caribbean vibe grab and go where you can customize your order start to finish. Yes, it's kinda expensive for a grab and go, but that's the Pearl. It's enjoyable though and worth it to me. I love how you can choose your own toppings (fried shallot, Brussels sprouts, corn, etc), but how full (or sorta full) your bowl that day kinda depends on who fills your order. I've had a full bowl and a not so full bowl before. Be advised, by the time you order your bowl and pay tax, you've paid $14 for a medium sized bowl of rice and chicken with toppings and some fries. I can turn my meal into two meals, though. Pro tip: I like to add a small roti for $1 and order the delicious plantains, then it's enough food to turn into 2 meals. Beef patties I didn't prefer the texture of the meat and pastry, but I can't comment if it's good or not since I don't know what beef patties are supposed to taste like. The beef inside is smooth. Some of my favorites are butter chicken with cilantro rice and j chicken with coconut rice. The j chicken is different than what I've seen at other Caribbean restaurants, but it's tasty. Here it's sliced boneless thigh. If you have a sweet tooth, get the garam masala fries as your side. They're crispy and tossed in a seasoning that is salty, sweet, slightly smoky, and earthy. Between these and the plantains, I'm pretty obsessed! Order online to save yourself time in line and to avoid human interaction! It's a popular place, so the line can get a little crazy sometimes. Ordering online is the way to go!"
