We went with a group and they were super nice, giving us free drinks!

The food and cocktails were very good, service however, was not. Very slow but friendly.

The food is decent for simple mexican food. It's run by the same people who run Pinche Taqueria so it's basically the same food. The service was beyond terrible. I wouldn't go back on that basis alone. Voir le carte

Service was good and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very good and the margaritas were solid and didn't have a lot of nonsense in them: tequila, agave and fresh lime juice perfection! The al pastor with pineapple taco was well made as were the other tacos. Happy customer.

High energy, but we sat at the communal table in the back, which was a little more quiet for conversation. The hostess who was also our server could not have been more lovely, gracious, helpful and enthusiastic. The home made guacamole and tacos were outstanding. The classic margaritas were also delicious. Will definitely revisit when I'm in the neighborhood!

The atmosphere was lively, but we opted to sit at the communal table in the rear which provided a quieter setting for conversation. Our hostess, who doubled as our server, was extremely charming, accommodating, and passionate. The homemade guacamole and the special on 3 tacos for the price of 2 were exceptional. We killed about an hour there during happy hour before our friends joined us for dinner. Carta Azul is stellar in every way. The ambiance, service, food, drinks, they knocked it out of the park in every aspect. The service was fast, the food was a hit our friends are the fine dining types with distinguished palettes they were HOOKED on the fish tacos and margarita's. I even noticed them boasting about their experience on Facebook afterwards. For us we knew the place was a gem.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant with their Taco Tuesday special (buy 2 get 1 free). The food was not outstanding, but I appreciated their dedication to using quality ingredients. The carnitas taco was disappointing and tough, but the avocado, mushroom, and fish tacos were delicious. The salsas were spicy and flavorful, but the drinks were a bit weak. The service was not great, but the staff was accommodating and patient with our group of 8 that arrived at different times. There were moments when a waiter unintentionally yelled in my ear while calling out a dish or drink, and interrupted me mid-conversation or while I was eating. This may not be the best place for a quiet, elegant...

Celebrated my birthday here with their Taco Tuesday offer (buy get free). The food wasn't remarkable but I love their commitment to sourcing good produce/ingredients. The carnitas taco was disappointing and tough though the avocado, mushroom and fish ones were delicious. The salsas are spicy and tasty but the drinks are a tad watered down. Service was not the best though I do appreciate how accommodating and patient they were with a group of that arrived in parts. Several times I had a waiter inadvertently yell in my ear as he shouted out a dish or drink and had arms thrust out and cut me off mid-sentence or mid-bite.
