Char House On The Boulevard

First time dining here and we had good service from Krista. Our party enjoyed the creative cocktails followed by entrees which were nicely seasoned, cooked, and presented. The outdoor seating was nice and relaxing except for the traffic noise.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Char on the Boulevard on September 8, 2023. With over 20 guests in the Esquire Room, we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The pricing was also very reasonable. We highly recommend Char on the Boulevard!

3 of us ordered hamburgers 2 wanted them cooked medium, and 1 wanted medium well, all 3 were medium rare, but...others ordered other food and they were happy with the portion size as well as the preparation. This restaurant is not really my kind of place. It definitely caters to a more upscale clientele. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent—albeit a bit pricey, it's worth it. A note about parking: if you're on a motorcycle, be cautious, as the lot is filled with loose gravel and isn't very level.

Loved it all! Filet was cooked exactly how I wanted and was great. The house cabernet was awesome ???? sausage pasta was great. Chicken spring roll app was very good, loved the slaw with it. Will definitely be back, need to try the french onionsoup! The service was great too. Came here from Washington to try something different and glad we made the trip. Like i said,we will be back!

In our group of six, a few people left still feeling hungry. The drinks didn’t arrive at the same time, and one of the signature cocktails we had enjoyed previously was noticeably different; we ended up canceling and sending a few drinks back. The side salads were served halfway through the entrees. Overall, the food was just average at best and overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant or return myself. Voir le carte

I visited this restaurant as a tourist with my family on a holiday weekend, and it was one of the places recommended by the hotel shuttle that took us there. The ambiance was pleasant, but I found the prices a bit high for the quality of the food. The pizza was oven-baked but slightly burnt and somewhat bland. It seemed like every little thing came with an extra charge. No offense, but the food was just okay. Then again, I might be a bit spoiled since I'm from New York.
