Amazing food and great staff. Prices are perfect for a good sized meal. Daily specials are great deals. Would recommend to anyone who wants a home cooked meal, but doesn't want to cook it. Will definitely be coming back.

Wow! As someone who is still getting acquainted with the area, I have already found my favorite breakfast spot! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the home-cooked food is excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant for any meal!

This place is a gem in Carthage. I ordered The Hungry Mans breakfast, comes with two eggs, hashbrowns/home fries, your choice of meat (I picked the hash) and toast. It was delicious! We went for a birthday lunch and really enjoyed ourselves--clean, affordable, really friendly and pleasant. We all had different things from the lunch menu and everything was really good. (Bacon burger, BLT, tuna melt, chicken patty) I wished I saved room because on the way out I saw someone with the strawberry shortcake and it looked fantastic.

Our server Lisa did a great job. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. We split the fried pickles, the batter was crispy and not too heavy. I had the turkey, ham, and bacon club. My husband had the biscuits with gravy and our daughter had a huge pancake. None of us managed to finish the large portions but enjoyed the meals. We will definitely come back.

Great food with affordable prices. Only downside is that if you're not a regular there, you will get stared at for the duration of your meal. Also there was an instance where we came in an hour before they were supposed to close, and we were not served. No one even approached us to let us know that they would no longer be serving so after sitting for 15 minutes with no communication on their end, we left. During our time at Fort Drum, my family stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely woman. This restaurant was everything you hope to find in a family-friendly dining spot. We spent four years at Fort Drum, and we ended up eating here nearly every Sunday. The portion sizes were generous, the wait staff excelled in customer service, and whoever was cooking in the back on the grill was fantastic! I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a cozy, hometown atmosphere.

I bring my family here for breakfasts when we visit the North Country. Let 's start with the service... the servers are prompt and attentive. They are friendly and always checking on our waters and coffees. The food is high quality and cooked just how you want it. I usually get the omelette and any flavor is good. The Everything Omellette is big and filling. My kids get the pancakes and it comes with lots of local maple syrup. The breakfasts always fill them up and we leave very satisfied. Price is reasonable and comparable to other quality restaurants. Many locals eat here. Check it out!

This place was awesome! My wife and I recently moved to Carthage and wanted to try this place out as everyone we had spoken to in town had told us it was great. We walked in and immediately felt at home with the staff. They were so nice and friendly. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and eggs and my wife had the gravy and biscuits. The food took slightly longer than most diners, but that is ok because it is all freshly made. The Pancakes were amazing! The blueberrys were fresh picked and they tasted like fresh blueberry cobbler. The gravy was homemade and so were the biscuits, and being from the south this surprised me it was so good up here.
