"First, I have always loved eating at chicken express. I really like the fact you can substitute your drink for a side instead and get whatever pieces of chicken you want. However I have never visited this location. First staff was very friendly and I hadmy order to go and was ready in a matter of minutes. However when I got back to my Hotel to enjoy the chicken I received wasvery dry and not what I have always enjoyed. Breading had separated from the chicken and skin was burnt. I presume from sittingtoo long under heat lamps. Maybe this can be used as an incentive to serve fresher product"

Aside from the occasional mix-up, such as receiving fries instead of okra, this restaurant is clean, friendly, and typically serves fresh food. It's one of my go-to spots for a quick lunch, especially because of the delicious cherry pie. I’m giving it 4 stars because there’s a charge for sauce.

The meals are served with a generous 32oz drink. The livers, spicy tenders, rolls, and fries were all excellent. However, the macaroni and cheese was the worst I've ever had at a chicken restaurant. I thought KFC and Golden Chick had subpar mac and cheese, but this place's version is even worse. While the pasta itself was fresh and cooked well, the cheese sauce was terrible. It was plentiful, but the quality was so poor that it didn't enhance the dish at all.

I asked multiple times for my order to be prepared fresh—at least five times. I spent $23 and only received okra and French fries, which were just average. Nothing tasted fresh. The staff working at night appears to be inexperienced young employees who don’t seem to care about customer service or going beyond the bare minimum. If you want hot, fresh food, it's worth the extra drive to the Mustang location. I've never had an issue getting my order made fresh there. Voir le carte
