"Vegetable skewer was very smoky. Salad had wilted greens. The chicken fried steak and ice tea were good. The only sugar substitute to sweeten the tea was SweetPlus. The waitress was good but the “are we”ready to order, “do we” need more time, etc.references were extremely irritating. She had little knowledge about the questions I had regarding items on the menu. Wish I could give it more stars but compared to the Mesquite Pit in Granbury; Granbury gets 5+ stars."

"Tried this place twice and both times I have ordered fatty sliced brisket and been served chopped, dry, no fat brisket. I stood there this last time watching her cut the brisket for my order. The girl cut dry no fat brisket off and chopped it. I spoke up and said, it's supposed to be fatty. She huffed and rolled her eyes and continued cutting the last of that brisket and chopping it. Well, both times the brisket was given to me chopped when I ordered sliced, and it's so dry and tough! when I watched her slice it off, she was not slicing correctly. I watched a couple other of the kids working. It's obvious that thwy have not been taught how to properly slice brisket. I've ordered the ribs and pulled pork too. The pulled pork was dry like the brisket and lacking flavor. The ribs were as ribs should be, tender, however, I would not buy them again as they are overpriced for sure! Overall, Very expensive and poor quality."

"We grabbed dinner about 6p the night before we left our stay at the Crazy Water Hotel (girls trip) ... it had a fun atmosphere and a guy was setting up for live music later in the evening ... it's a cute concept and has a window between it and The Market at 76067 to serve coffee, etc ... it wasn't busy at all, there were a couple of people at the bar ... everyone was very nice ... I got the chicken pesto sandwich which was good, but on the smaller side ... as they have goat cheese on the menu, I asked if I could substitute it for the provolone but they only had a flavored goat cheese so I passed ... the chips that came with my sandwich were heavily peppered, which most people probably like, but I don't so I asked if they had any other kind of chips but they didn't. In that I don't drink alcohol, I cannot comment regarding the bar, bartender, drinks etc."

"This is a charming little restaurant with fantastic service, but unfortunately, the burger didn't live up to the excitement. We had been looking forward to trying the burgers, but they turned out to be frozen patties, and the meat had an off taste. I'm hoping we don't end up feeling unwell.
