"Would have given it 5 stars but for the belly dancing. Was enjoying a quiet diner with my wife and the food was very good. Half way thru the meal the entertainment started in the form of a belly dancer. Music was very loud and the dancer was fine, but it never seemed to end. There was 5 or more different dances, to the point where me and my wife felt uncomfortable. It didn't end till we were done with our dinner. Not sure if it was a weekend thing or happens every night. Would like to go back for the food and reasonable prices , but......."

"The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is the ambience. We had dinner on their outdoor patio and the setting is beautiful and peaceful and well covered in case of rain. The food, at best, is mediocre. I had the Chicken Oreganato and my husband had the Pastitsio. We both agreed that the food had been prepared in advance and had been sitting out. It was not fresh. My chicken dish looked like it had been deep fried and had greasy skin and was shriveled and dry. The side vegetables were overcooked. The entire meal was way over salted. My husband said his Pastitsio dinner was not good. And upon reviewing my bill the morning after our dinner, I found that they had overcharged us for the Chicken Oreganato by $3 (my mistake for not fully checking the bill at that time). I don't understand the excellent reviews. We will not be back."

"We ordered the buffalo bites, black bean burger, adobo tacos that came with red bell pepper soup, and the sin tres leches cake.I was really looking forward to trying vegan food at this place after looking at the reviews but was disappointed by everything I ordered. The cauliflower bites were mushy instead of crispy, the soup was cold and poorly seasoned, the black bean burger was better than all the other items but nothing amazing. I had high hopes for the tres leches but it was very doughy and tasted so artificial that I had to give up on it after two bites. I don’t think paying $20-25 per entree that tastes worse than average restaurant food can be justified… Response to owner: I’m sorry this review isn’t to your liking, since all the food was subpar we didn’t feel comfortable sharing this in person. Also smiling and saying goodbye is just good manners. There was definitely a good majority of the tres leches on the table when we left, so there must be some misunderstanding. I’m not writing this review to hate on your restaurant, I genuinely hope this was a one-off and your team can improve the quality of the food going forward."

"J'ai été appelé par Tom George pour me dire qu'ils n'allaient pas servir le brunch pendant les mois d'été, seulement le dîner. L'hôtesse était très gentille et m'a demandé de reporter pour le dîner, ce que j'ai fait. L'hôtesse a également offert à mon groupe une tournée de boissons pour la gêne occasionnée. Je suis donc arrivé au restaurant dimanche à 18 heures alors que je prévoyais de fêter la fête des pères avec ma famille et le restaurant était fermé. Nous avons été très surpris et déçus. Le restaurant n'a pas appelé le lendemain et j'ai décidé de ne plus essayer d'y manger. Donc, dimanche, je suis allé à LA Chapter à l'Ace Hotel où nous avons eu un bon dîner que je savais que je ferais parce que j'y étais auparavant.Je ne sais pas à qui incombe la responsabilité d'Open Table pour être sûr que à jour et précis, mais rien de tel ne m'est jamais arrivé dans aucun restaurant auparavant."

"The service was great. The onion soup was delightful and quite filling, thanks to the generous amount of bread. I also ordered the salmon salad, which I had read was supposed to come with a vinaigrette. However, the dressing was white and somewhat opaque, which made me suspect it might have mayo in it. I'm not a fan of mayo, so that put me off a bit. The salmon itself was good, though. For dessert, we had the carrot cake, which was both delicious and served in a generous portion."
