"Acceptable Chinese-style food, a departure from the numerous eateries serving such kind of (generally horrid unhealthy) food that pervade America. It has a very long list of Americanized adulterations of a great cuisine.Deep-frying (like egg rolls, battered meat) is NOT traditional Chinese. Cheese (like crab Rangoon or cheese wonton) does NOT exist in Chinese cuisine. BTW General Tso Chicken does NOT exist in China, it is horrible unhealthy American invention.Americanized Chinese-style food is generally unhealthy greasy salty-sugared food. Finding authentic in America is a challenge. This place, though NOT true Chinese cuisine, has some acceptable Chinese-style foods; thanks to ability of the cook to make silken sauces (especially white sauces).FEW ACCEPTABLE ENTREES: Shrimp with mixed vegetables (white sauce); Vegetable Chop Suey; Steamed vegetables; Mixed vegetables egg foo yong; Four Seasons; Beef Scallions; Moo Goo Gai Pan.BUT CANNOT RECOMMEND any appetizers (too much deep frying), not the fried rices and not the noodles (useless calories). IF THEY GET RID OF THESE and some of soy sauce-based dishes, there is potential for a good eatery! The staff and cook are friendly."
