Best mexican food around I always recommend them to my friends and family

After 14 years in Los Angeles, been pretty underwhelmed by New York City’s Mexican food. This finally delivered!It doesn’t look like anything special but: wow. Sooooo good! I will be back.

The best mexican food in the area hands down.Helps if you speak spanish but you can always point to what you want on the menu.I highly recommend the huaraches and nachos with guac.Realky, you cannot go wrong! Food made with love. All the produce they use is so fresh too. Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but I was disappointed that the prices listed on the menu did not match what I was charged. The steak fajita was listed as $10, but I ended up being charged $14 for it. The menu definitely needs to be updated to avoid confusion for customers.

This is always a go to stop for me whenever I visit my friends in NYC! They live right near the restaurant so it's always free delivery they're always quick with prepping the food, but it always is warm so fresh! Very authentic Mexican food the prices are not bad at all; got 1 large burrito 4 tacos filled with steak for just over $25 bucks including tip

It can be hard to find good Mexican takeout in Manhattan for a decent price, and my partner is from LA so we really never thought that would happen. We found Chinelos by accident when looking for a quick bodega sandwich before a friend's party and felt like we hit gold. At the time we weren't in the delivery radius and thought we'd never have it again, but then we moved nearby and it was the first meal we had in our new home. Everything we've had here is GREAT. While walking to the 1 train to 145th Street, we stumbled upon this restaurant that caught our attention with the delicious smell of tacos wafting outside. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try and ordered their Chicken Taco, Mexican Sausage Taco, and Cactus Taco. It was our first time encountering a Cactus Taco on a menu, so we were curious to taste it. The cactus had a slightly sour and acidic flavor reminiscent of green beans or okra, making it a unique and tasty option for a veggie taco. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!!I did a order pick up and when I got him and tasted my food (I got steak tacos) the steak was absolutely BLAND. I went back and in a super nice way explained that they were bland and they I didn’t want my money back just a do over. The man at the counter had a NASTY attitude which I brushed off. He calls the woman from the back and they begin tasting the food and speaking badly about me in Spanish (not realizing that I speak Spanish as well). When my order is done they lady just tosses my food in the bag and tosses it to me as if I did something to her.
