"The restaurant was really busy with online orders, so going in to order was the best choice. It took about 15 minutes, and the staff were friendly and attentive, even noticing when some customers were getting a bit too loud at the door. When we got home, the food was still piping hot. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any utensils, but we had our own cutlery and some spices on hand. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were cooked over medium, with just the right amount of runny yolk—exactly how I like them. The pancakes were enormous and quite a challenge to finish. This was my first visit, and while I enjoyed it, I probably won’t return to this location because it's too far from my friendly neighborhood."

"Anyone who visits the Roostertail knows about the beautiful venue and excellent view of the Detroit River, anyone who tours will hear about their straightforward pricing for hassle-free wedding packages, and, for us, the Roostertail delivered on everything they promised and more. Our guests loved the venue and the food. The gorgeous scenery made the day feel like a dream and it resulted in a lot of amazing photos to relive the day over and over again. Most importantly, the venue is perfect to join everyone together and celebrate, whether that was living it up on the dance floor or a conversation on the quiet patio.If you are looking for a venue which can help reduce stress while delivering a high-quality experience, we highly recommend the Roostertail. Leading up to the event, Nicole asks a lot of very thorough questions, provides clear directions on what is required, and offers a series of recommendations to make for an excellent wedding. The Roostertail coordinated with our external vendors to ensure that we didn’t have to stress on the day of the event, and everything went smoothly with very little input from us which allowed us to focus on each other and our guests. Nicole was a true joy to work with during the entire process – we felt completely heard and taken care of, and ended up with a wedding that exceeded our dreams."

"Overall a good experience, and I usually love coming to this place. The Bagel Lox had less lox than I expected and it is placed awkwardly on the bagel. The flavor was great though, and everything we ordered was included, except they did not give us napkins."
