"A very good experience. Everything was great. Our server, Connor (doing double duty as bartender) was professional, fun, and he listened to what we wanted. I had a great drink. And a great meal. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, the sushi was a big surprise. Very good and I couldn't finish it all. I think it needed a drizzle of some sort of sauce in addition to the soy and wasabi and pickled ginger. But that didn't stop me from eating my fill. OMG for the hush puppies! Like a cross between hush puppy and beignet. We will go back, for sure."

"I never actually ate here, but let me tell you, that was probably for the best. My experience with Kill Devil Grill started with me trying to order food online. Silly me, I thought that would be a straightforward process. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. After fighting with their broken online system, I decided to give them a call. You know, like people used to do in the dark ages before the internet. I was on hold for a while, but hey, I figured they were busy whipping up some delicious food. How naive of me. When I finally got through to the host, I explained my situation, expecting at least a smidge of empathy or, I don’t know, a willingness to help. Instead, I was hit with a line that’s going to be etched in my memory forever: The kitchen said no. This was after they asked, how many things are you going to order? Really? No. Just... no. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to even pretend like they cared. Apparently, asking to place an order over the phone was too much for them to handle. I mean, how dare I want to give them money in exchange for food? The nerve! Look, I’ve dealt with bad service before, but this was a whole new level of ridiculous. The fact that they couldn’t even be bothered to take an order says everything you need to know about this place. Customer service? What’s that? The people running this joint clearly have no clue. Honestly, I’m relieved I didn’t actually get to try their food. If their service is this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. Maybe the kitchen didn’t say no —maybe it was trying to warn me. In any case, I’ve taken the hint. I won’t be bothering Kill Devil Grill with my pesky orders again. If you value your time, money, or basic human decency, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place."

"First time dining at the Red Drum Tap House. Not very busy as our party of 8 arrived but became busier as the evening progressed. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Our table had positives and negatives with our meals. An ordered medium raretuna was medium well and vegetables were very undercooked for each meal but blackened salmon over the spinach salad wasdelicious. The bathroom was very dirty and appeared to not have been wiped down for a while along with lots of dust on the blackpainted areas. Upon asking for our checks for the 4 couples, we were informed the restaurant can only take 2-3 credit cards pertable. Come on, this is 2022 and I?m sure the waitress had the ability to provide separate checks. I?m sure tips are frequentlydiscounted by this ?rule? as we now had to split the bill evenly amongst 3 cards while forcing one couple to use cash."

"Absolutely love this place! We never have to wait too long for a seat, even with a party of 7 on Friday night. They don’t take reservations and it doesn’t matter, they get you seated pretty quickly, which is important when you’re hungry and other restaurants tell you it’s a 2 hr wait. We go to Mulligans at least twice every year when we visit OBX, it’s our favorite spot! Every item on the menu is flavorful and delicious. Crab cakes, Cobb salad, clam chowder, seafood platter, burgers, coconut shrimp, calamari, ahi tuna- all great choices, prepared perfectly and generously portioned. Try to save room for dessert. Key lime pie is my fav, but a family member said the bread pudding was the best they had ever had."

"We recently visited Nag's Head and decided to try some Thai cuisine. The restaurant has very convenient hours, open from morning until night. Despite being small, the ambience and seating are quite pleasant. On the day we visited, the AC seemed to be struggling, so they may need to address that issue. As for the food, it was actually quite good. We tried the fried rice and lo mein noodles, both of which were delicious. The portion sizes were a bit small, so they could consider increasing them. The steamed dumplings we ordered were also tasty. The service was excellent as well. Overall, Nag's Head is a good restaurant with delicious food."
