"This is a fantastic old-school diner that feels less touristy compared to nearby options. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes are classic comfort food, and the Reuben sandwich is a true homage to New York. I noticed some reviews mentioning that it's a bit pricey, but I found it to be more affordable than several other spots in the area, and the portion sizes are generous. Two people can comfortably share a dish. I highly recommend giving this place a try!"

Exceptional. A quiet corner diner with well prepared food. Order the cheese cake. I dare you. Visitors, prepare to pay NYC prices.

Best BLT I’ve ever had! Huge sandwich stuffed with bacon, lettuce and tomato. No sad and greasy portions here. Great value for $10 in NYC. I love how bustling the place is too. Great quality and ambiance. Voir le carte

We enjoyed a delightful quick breakfast here during our holiday in New York. It's a place where you can typically find a seat and enjoy a hearty meal to kick off your day. The service is both quick and friendly, making it a great spot to visit.

Convenient to my hotel I figured it was worth a try. Decent menu, seated without waiting, and not rushed. Service good. My hub had an omelet that was typical and I had challah French toast also typical price $14. Add on for real maple syrup. Just a regular place with NY prices to relax in while eating breakfast.

The sandwich was prepared just the way I like it. My partner and I couldn't recall the name of this diner we visited a year ago, but we had a general idea of the route to get there. We were thrilled to rediscover it! We sat at the bar area, which is always a great experience. The server, who might also be the owner, is so much fun. We will definitely return! Voir le carte

This was typical diner food. The staff was friendly and straightforward, just as you'd expect in NYC. It was a no-frills experience. The menu was slightly more expensive than I anticipated, but I thought that if I was going to spend that much, I might as well order steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. I had no trouble finding a seat here on Sunday for brunch.

I had two breakfasts—one from a special menu for PLN 10 and the other a more lavish option. I was really surprised by the generous portion size when I ordered the pancakes with eggs, bacon, and maple syrup. It's a unique combination that was quite different for someone like me, who isn’t used to it as a European. The ambiance of the place is very inviting and has a distinct American vibe.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
