Melissa was super awesome and welcomed us in as locals. Ranch cheese fries were off the charts and tangy buffalo wings were tasty.

Nice staff, i always call my order ahead and its ready. Tasty food and beverages are mixed nice! Don't let the construction on street deter you.

Well worth the couple block walk before any Pens games or events at Console. No crazy lines, waits or bumping into others like the ones around the energy center. Just great food and drink specials.

Forbes Tavern is a great spot for American food enthusiasts. It has a classic atmosphere and a welcoming staff. I tried the all-beef hot dog with chopped onions, smoked wings, and a seasonal salad, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Good location, reasonably priced drinks for downtown. Went with a friend, we ordered a variety of beers and poutine. Good selection of beers, wouldn’t whole heartily recommend the poutine but that could be personal preference. Talked to other groups at the bar, it was a very friendly place.Food: 4/5 Voir le carte

Great place to grab drinks after work or before going to North Shore for a game. I've come here with friends and colleagues and typically get a table immediately service is quick as well. Beer list is mid-size and diverse but I wish they carried ciders. Can't opine on the food but it looked pretty good when I glanced at other tables the last time I was there.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic, Chef Cam is incredibly talented. Be sure to try the California flatbread and the bang bang shrimp - they are both delicious. The fries and drinks are also perfect. The staff, especially Holly, is awesome and sweet. They have a great selection of beer on tap as well. This restaurant supports local businesses that are trying to recover from the effects of COVID-19.

We recently had dinner late on a Sunday evening at the Forbes Tavern. We had never been there before. The atmosphere was cozy. There was one other table with two guys in the whole place. We were starving, and quickly overlooked the fact that every table appeared dirty. Not terribly dirty, just dirty.The server was friendly and helpful, and the menu was pretty simple. It was very hot outside so the two of us ordered lemonade and ice water. I ordered the smoked chicken wings (also grilled) and Cajun French fries.
