Kid-friendliness: Johnny, the cook, gave me a big hug after not seeing me for 3 years or better. Curt, the owner, gave me a firm but warm and shake and a big smile. Food was top-quality. This restaurant offers the best BBQ in the area at very reasonable prices. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is top-notch. We had our first disappointing meal at Curt's. My S.O. ordered the wood smoked bacon double cheeseburger, and the photo they posted showed a huge, delicious looking sandwich. What he got, though, was a small, pale version of that. He went back inside, thinking they had given him a single burger, however he was told that there were indeed 2 patties under that cheese. Cripes, their burgers are thinner than a fast-food restaurant! The flavor was good, but the burgers were dried out.
