This is an excellent spot for a late-night meal. The dishes I tried were unique and incredibly tasty. I have visited multiple times, and I definitely recommend it. Food: 5/5

Been here quite a few times and it's always been a pretty peasant experience, the cheese corn and daebak fries are really good (though they are extremely stingy on the meat in the fries, I'm talking like there's barley a sprinkle of meat) but the drinks and service here is always pretty solid. It can get pretty busy at times so expect a wait if you come during weekend nights

Cool spot to come here with friends to drink. Ended up getting some soju fruit drinks that come in the actual fruit and a yogurt soju mixed bottle to share. Parking does suck and will have to find parking around the corner if no parking is available in the small parking lot.The drinks were fair price. We also go garlic fries but don't recommend. The pork belly is cooked and seasoned perfectly, while the fried chicken is crispy but quite bland without the accompanying sauce. The kimchi fried rice is flavorful, though it’s not the dry-style variety. The steamed dumplings have a unique folding style. The vegetable salad is fresh, and the stir-fried octopus is tasty, although the texture is quite chewy. Lastly, the side dishes are simple. The waitress is friendly, and there is a great selection of Korean beverages available.

The owner guy asked to myself and my friend if he could take a picture of us. We were told that we are getting a printed out picture but he only took one and he set it up on a used up melon to just show it to us and to take a pic of that instead of what I have promised. Shady guy. Cheap. Food was mediocre, the only good thing was the servers. They were so sweet and awesome. I'm only giving stars because of them. I hope they work for someone more respectable. I won't be returning. Much love

This place is a little on the expensive side, but it's absolutely worth it! It's quite popular with groups, making it a bit noisy for romantic dates—though that doesn't deter me. The food and atmosphere are fantastic! I specifically come for the fried chicken, which always arrives piping hot. The regular potato fries that come with it are just okay, but you can order sweet potato fries instead, which I think are much better. It takes me a while to be able to hold the chicken in my bare hands, but it's always incredibly crispy, well-seasoned, and the spicy sauce is delicious! tl;dr Food options are best for sharing, a bit pricy for the overall quality of food. Fruit shell cocktails are a cool novelty! I think the Yelp rating of 3.5 stars at the time of this review is accurate as the food is tasty, but it's not cheap. Parking is limited as it's a small lot for several shops. I used to come here a few times pre-pandemic, and this was my first visit back since then. I'd say the quality and experience are about the same. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so expect a wait if you come late since this is definitely a late-night spot. Food, service, atmosphere excellent.There were a few things that drew me to Daebak. At first it was the soju served in melons and pineapples. Then it was the booth with the red phone and the girl with the big head. The red phone looked like the rotary phone i had during my early 20 's. I 'd look at it and reminisce while listening to K pop and sipping on soju and munching on spicy rice cakes. NOTE: They close early on weekdays at 12AM now 2AM on weekends night. Yelp hours are wrong!I came to Daebak around 11PM when seated, they told us last call for kitchen was 11:30PM they were closing at 12AM.
