"First time here. My niece wanted to try cold noodles. Decided to come here because their menu was simple and guaranteed to have cold noodles. Limited seating indoors about 5 or 6 4person table. Plenty of parking. 4 different types of soups on their menu plus fried mandoo and their king size dumplings. Everything we had here was delicious and filling! Cold noodles dish was so refreshing since it was a little warm out that day. I had the seafood noodle soup. Worth it and had plenty of clams, squid slices and a couple head-on shrimp. My husband had the dumpling soup with their homemade dumplings. We did want to try their king size steam dumplings and those are a meal in itself. We had the pork and pork with kimchi. The bread was thin, but still held the filling together. Their steam dumplings had so much filling its worth the $3. We are definitely coming back."

Amazing food and outstanding service! We will definitely come back. Even our picky child said it was the best meal they’ve ever had!

Amazing food and very reasonably priced. We had their fried dumplings (pork and kimchi 5 of each), king size dumplings (pork, kimchi, and black bean rice 2 of each), and pork dumpling soup. Everything was very good. With a 20% tip, it was around $59. Amazing!!

I really enjoy their dumplings; they're always fresh and tasty. However, I do feel a bit awkward asking for the sauce and yellow radish. In Korea, those are typically offered for free without needing to ask. It seems like they get a little irritated when I request them. I wish they would just include them with the dumplings by default.

The buns here are delicious, and the fried kimchi dumplings are outstanding. The seafood noodle soup is also quite good. However, I've noticed that the bibimnaengmyun hasn't been as impressive lately, which is unfortunate. I personally prefer the mulnaengmyun, but I'm unsure if it's still as good as it used to be. I'm not sure what changed. On a positive note, the family that owns the restaurant is very nice. Voir le carte

I discovered this place a while ago when it was featured on K5 Evening Magazine, but I completely forgot about it until recently. On a trip from Seattle to Portland, we needed a quick bite and Daekbak Wang Mandoo came up as a nearby option. I'm so glad we took the short detour off I-5! Their pork buns and kimchi pork buns were absolutely delicious—soft, freshly steamed buns filled with flavorful meat and a satisfying crunch from the vegetables. They were perfect for eating in the car! I also ordered a dumpling noodle soup to go, which we enjoyed later; it was delicious and comforting on a chilly, rainy day. The service was fast and friendly, and we will definitely be back!

We used to love this place but seriously was disappointed by the owner’s attitude. They are saying that we can only order 10 dumplings by group. Okay. Here is the thing. Me and my friend came here “separately” for to go order (not even dine in). My mom and dad asked me to buy dumplings so I took a travel to come here from Oregon. The owner said since I came here with my friend, I cannot make order for the dumpling due to their limits. We explained that we came here separately. What do you mean by “group”? Just because we stepped in the store at the same time, that does not make us as a group. We are not even dine in. I was upset about their attitude. I do not think I will come here again due...

"Decently maintained establishment with quick service, excellent hospitality, and large entrees which complimented the pricing.Opinion:Initially, I was skeptical about the establishment due to the higher prices for simple dishes. My sentiment didn't get much better after I left to wash my hands and noticed that a portion of the men's restroom was used as a storage or closet space. Also that the lighting appeared dim giving it an odd vibe.Returning to the table, we decided to over order since we were unsure of the portions and were afraid that food would be grossly overpriced, but to our shock, the food arrived extremely fast and the portions were well worth the pricing.Everything that we ordered tasted great, my only qualms were that (1) my poke bowl had too much lettuce and onions which I couldn't help but to think was to simply fill the bowl, (2) that the poke bowl probably should've come with a side of seaweed salad instead of lettuce salad since it already came with a healthy portion of it, and (3) that most menu items came with krab meat, or imitation crab, which is a bit of a turn off since it seems to lack authenticity. The breakdown of each category is as follows...Atmosphere:Excellent design and layout. The artwork, music, and aesthetics made for a very welcoming environment and complemented the style very nicely. Though, I do feel like the restrooms are due for an upgrade in lighting and style.Service:The staff was friendly, warm, and very aware of the needs of the customer. If we ever finished an item then they were there to clear the table of empty dishes without disrupting our meal.Food:Though the food may appear pricey, it's actually reasonable given the large quantity of meat that you are given in each roll. Don't be offset by the words 2 pieces in reference to the quantity of meat in each roll their two pieces are large, trust me on that one. To reiterate, we over ordered due to not understanding that the prices are high because they are double the portions that you would get anywhere else.I do feel like they tried to fluff up the poke bowl with lettuce, which was a bummer, but it did still have quite a bit of salmon in it, so I wasn't too upset. Also, I must note the food arrives extremely fast which is a huge bonus.Overall:It's a nice establishment, but the menu items aren't something that I will want to revisit often. I'll give it 4 stars since the food and service made up for the price, but I would like to see the few adjustments mentioned in my review before I ever think about a 5 star. But, with that said, I would still recommend Koharu to anyone who asks for a solid Japanese restaurant in the area."
