"I ordered the DF picanha and the pineapple juice with mint. The pineapple juice came out first and it was phenomenal with the perfect level of sweetness. The atmosphere was moody and elegant with amazing music. I started imagining myself visiting more frequently...until the entree came out. My hands started hurting trying to cut the meat with the steak knife because the picanha was so tough and chewy. The pinto bean, rice, and tomato side that came with it tasted bland as if it came straight out of a can. Overall, I was disappointed to pay $46 for a simple meat dish with a side that tasted worse than tacologist. I was really torn between going here or texas de brazil because I was craving a good picanha.....I think a $20 steak from Texas Roadhouse with a side of mexican rice and beans from Barrios would taste 10x better. I would definitely go back for the drinks!"

"I hadn’t been to a restaurant since March, but we recently went to L’Albatross for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. I wanted to support them, because through social media I could tell they’re taking things seriously. We had to wear a mask to enter until we sat down. The hostess was so nice and appropriate explaining she would take our temperature and how to use the touchless menus. All staff was masked. They sat us outside as requested. "Excellent food, wine and service. We had the lamb, penne pasta special and seafood risotto respectively. House made tiramisu was delicious too. Throughout the meal, we were very impressed with the pianist, Guytano Park’s, beautiful accompaniment. The only downside to our experience was a table of 4 women sitting next to us, who shouted and screached their way through their evening. The entire restaurant felt very loud to us. We’re older adults who remember a time when dining out did not include such decibel levels. And we’ve recently returned from an overseas trip in which the restaurant dining was much more civilized and the noise levels restrained. It would be so refreshing to find more restaurants in the US with lower noise levels so diners could actually enjoy conversing with each other."

"Out of the blue, the owner approached my brother and accused him of laughing because he "lost $10,000" due to the rain. We were taken aback, and my brother asked him what he meant. The owner then apologized and offered to buy us a round of drinks, which my brother declined. After that, the owner forcefully had us removed, directing his aggression toward my brother and our 76-year-old father, who hadn’t said anything. We reached out to the police at the door to explain the situation and seek assistance. They directed us to a parked police car, saying they could take a report. However, when we approached, the officers only cracked their window a few inches to inform us that they were on duty and couldn’t file a report. During this time, I also witnessed the security and police at the door turning away a woman with a newborn baby, leaving them exposed to the pouring rain."

"I visited Edwin's on the very first day of a new training session for the waitstaff, so the service was a bit rough, inconsistent, and slow. This is not typical for Edwin's, and I am confident it will be addressed promptly. Once we brought the issues to the attention of the experienced long-time staff, they resolved them immediately."
