"I ordered an 8oz sirloin steak cooked medium well, along with a baked potato, green beans, and a Dr. Pepper, for a total of $19.02. It took a bit longer than expected to cook the steak. I chose medium well as a test because I usually prefer my steak well done, but I’ve found that many places either overcook or dry them out. While it was a bit more pink than I typically like, it was still quite acceptable and skillet-fried to perfection. The baked potato was served very hot—by the time I finished my green beans and steak, it was still steaming. The green beans were soft and flavorful. On the downside, the only option for the potato was butter, which was a bit disappointing. The steak was a tad rubbery and more red than I prefer, but it was still tasty. And of course, the cash-only policy is something to keep in mind. I didn’t take any pictures since it’s a local establishment, and the patrons seemed a bit put off when I attempted to snap one. The locals seem to be there mainly for the food and to unwind, and they probably expect the same from others. The atmosphere was friendly, and I might consider returning another time. Overall, it wasn't bad—while I wouldn’t rate it a full four stars, I wouldn’t go as low as three either."

The hostess was very polite, and the chef is outstanding! I dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I would give the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
