"This is the second time this week that I have had dinner at the Town Grill while on vacation, despite the competition. The prepared fish (Frances) was excellent. The side salad was a healthy size. Try the fried zucchini also excellent. The staff is extremely polite and well trained. They are attentive, respectful, and they repeatedly inquire if everything is okay. John the owner is friendly and listens to what his customers are saying. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting. "Super ambiance et ambiance. Le cadre pour les repas en plein air, le long de la rivière avec une magnifique terrasse et un patio, constitue une merveilleuse expérience culinaire d'été. Notre serveur était excellent. La nourriture était très bonne, mais pas extraordinaire. Nous y retournerons certainement la prochaine fois que nous irons à Bend."

"Been there a few times. Always love the laid back style of service. They make u feel very comfortable. My last experience was awful. Service was mediocre. Food was awful. I ordered the wedge salad. It was drowned in dressing and inedible. The server should have noticed that we didn’t touch it but with the mediocre service nothing was offered. Then I had linguine and clam sauce. The linguine was cooked to mush and the added salt made it inedible also. The clams were fresh but the rest of the meal awful. I love the atmosphere of lubranos and want to believe it was just a bad experience. Lunch was $100 bucks for me and my husband. I don’t think we would return there anytime soon. Such a shame because their food was always dependable for a good meal."

"St. Stephen's Green is a local landmark that offers a wonderful Irish atmosphere, along with excellent food and drinks. I was there celebrating a key staff member over lunch. While the food at the tables was fantastic, my Banger lunch special tasted more like breakfast sausages. Although the place appears clean, it could really use a thorough dusting—especially with the bagpipes on the wall as a telling sign. Dust isn't great for hygiene. That said, it might have just been a one-time issue, and I'm sure we'll return in the future."

"The restaurant's exterior has finally been cleaned up and now has a great new look. Inside, the decor has a country motif with many tchotchkes. The menu is quite extensive and could benefit from a POS system to identify which items aren't selling well. This would help streamline the menu and potentially increase the number of diners served each day. The portion sizes are generous, with many customers likely only eating half of their meal. While the food tasted good, there was a noticeable amount of waste. Despite this, the service was excellent. However, there was a delay in bringing out the main dishes, so it would be helpful to have something served earlier in the meal."
