"I love startz Café, but please stop wiping down the tables with those awful smelly bleach rags! It’s hard to enjoy your food when all you smell is moldy bleach rags the entire table smells so bad it makes me nauseous and light headed. I can’t set my arm down on the table or it ends up smelling like bleach. The waitress also carries one around on her side. I can literally smell the moldy bleach every time she passes by. Use a different disinfectant! Other Restaurants don’t do this or all you would smell is bleach, bleach is a strong chemical it does not need to be used this way. Bleach furthers mold growth it does not kill it."

"This restaurant gets five stars for the atmosphere, service, and the food. I was traveling with four kids and was very grateful for the extra help I received. When they brought our food out, they helped me with a highchair, extra plates, and came back to check on us even as they were busy helping other customers. It is nice to eat somewhere you know those working care to go the extra mile to help those that need a little more. The food was good as well. I had the firefighter and it was good. All the food was tasty and even one loved the Mac and cheese and sausage. The restaurant was well cleaned and so were the bathrooms."

"Wow! Gennaro's Trattoria is truly one of the finest Italian restaurants we've ever been to, and we eat out quite often! Their motto, "Authentic Italian Cuisine," couldn't be more fitting. The dishes are incredibly authentic, made with fresh ingredients that really stand out, including a crisp and refreshing salad. The bread deserves a special mention—warm and soft inside with a perfectly crispy crust, ideal for dipping into the flavorful Italian garlic olive oil. They also have a great wine selection, with full bottles available. Our server, Phillip, was attentive and suggested the daily special, Red Snapper, which was an excellent pick—rich and delicious. We enjoyed our meal indoors, but the garden-style outdoor seating looks perfect for a sunny day. I highly recommend Gennaro’s Trattoria!"

"Absolutely amazing food. I have only been a few times, and each time has been perfect. I have only gotten take out, never eaten inside. I have worked all over San Antonio and tried many different Mexican restaurants and drive thru’s. There’s a term I use to describe Mexican food, based on its quality and how it’s prepared, and that term I use is the word ‘sloppy’. (NOT the term I’d use for Las Barcas). Lots of Mexican restaurants have drive thru’s, and often times the meal is placed ‘sloppily’ into the Togo containers, no care for its preparation. Sloppy beans, sloppy layout in the Togo container. At Las Barcas however, the food was laid out beautifully in the container, and was clearly put together with love. It was a meal you could drive all the way home with and fully enjoy once you get there, and feel like it was prepared politely just for you. Beyond the great service and preparation, it tastes incredible. The steak fajita meat seems quality, not gross cheap meat. I got the beef fajita burrito con queso. Even the inside of the burrito was not ‘sloppy’. It was clearly made to order and I could not be happier. There was legitimate care put into the $20 I spent, and they’ve won me as repeat customer. Please don’t sleep on this place. Give them your business if you haven’t already! They’re sweet on the phone, they’re sweet in person! Go there!"

"The location provides easy access to local attractions and hiking trails. One night we ordered dinner to-go, which was good. As for the rooms, they were clean and roomy; however, the bathroom felt a bit cramped. I particularly enjoyed the kitchen area with a bar for dining. Nearby activities include hiking, access to a lake and river, a museum, and plenty of nearby dining options. In terms of food, the salad was fresh, my husband loved the bacon mac and cheese, the burger was decent, and both the fries and quesadilla were good and made to order. Overall, I rate the rooms a 5, service a 5, and location a 5. This hotel is kid-friendly and truly offers great value!"
