"Delicious, but... We sampled a variety of dishes, and everything was quite tasty. However, as others have pointed out, the service could use some improvement. The staff is friendly, but one staff member seemed to be a bit forgetful. We were seated promptly, but after a few minutes, I had to get up and ask for menus. When my sushi arrived, I also had to go and request the wasabi I had asked for earlier. That said, we’ll definitely return; the teriyaki chicken and gyoza were excellent. The salmon in my Philly roll was cut a bit larger than I prefer, but that’s just a matter of personal taste and texture."

"I don't understand why some people have negative opinions about this restaurant, because my dining experience was fantastic! The atmosphere is inviting and clean, with a very friendly and generous staff. My meal was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning. "What an amazing staff team! It’s rare that I feel the need to congratulate a business on their staff team, but this charming shop is the exception. I was so charmed by how helpful, prompt and professional the blond girl behind the register was that I would be remiss to not take a moment to recognize her and her coworkers, who were so organized and on top of my to go order. Thank you! The milkshake was amazing and the staff had ways to customize it for me, which was nice! The soup of the day was chicken and wild rice, and it was hot and so delicious. They bagged it up in paper containers that worked well and are environmentally friendly. You guys deserve the solid reviews you have here."

"I sat down to a pattie melt and it was delicious. They had a pickle beer (Slap and Pickle) that the waitress talked a bit about but I chickend out and got an IPA. While I was drinking my IPA my wife and I were talking about the Pickle Beer and thought it would be worth a try but maybe with a little tomato juice added. When our waitress returned I ordered the Pickle Beer and out of the blue she suggested a little tomato juice added with some Tajin on the rim of the glass so that's what I did. As an IPA drinker I was completely skeptical about a pickle flavored beer but was I surprised. All the beer would not fit in the glass so she brought what was left in the can and I have to say that the raw beer was ok but after adding the tomato juice and Tajin on the rim I would give it a 4.5 out of five. So go for the food and excellent service and if you are feeling a bit adventurous and are if age go for the Slap and Pickle I think you might be pleasantly surprised."

"This is one of my favorite coffee shops, and I often go out of my way to visit. The coffee drinks are fantastic, and the service is top-notch—always friendly and quick. There are plenty of seating options available, including couches and both two- and four-top tables. The WiFi is reliable, and there are plenty of power outlets. There's ample parking right out front, and it's conveniently located near the freeway, just down the road from Troutdale and McMenamin's Edgefield."
