"While I was in Winston-Salem for work, I was looking for some local food and was not disappointed by this place! The Deacon was amazing - one of the best grilled subs I've had in a while. I also tried the potato salad (highly recommend) and washed it down with a fountain cheerwine. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and they had some cool sports memorabilia on display."

Food is good! Service is good! With-in walking distance of about everything in downtown Winston. One of my favorites is the French dip with sweet potato fries. Make sure to get the honey mustard that goes with it.

Great food served up quick with friendly staff. The line usually isn't long but it goes quick. You can dine in or take out. Call ahead and they will have it waiting on you when you arrive. Great downtown spot for Winston. Highly recommend. They also have breakfast.
