"This charming restaurant is a hidden gem. I first learned about it in Watkins Glenn and decided to pay a visit after picking up a delicious chocolate hazelnut liquor. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Emma who introduced herself and chatted with us. She mentioned that a skilled gentleman on site handcrafted the liquor we enjoyed. In addition to the chocolate hazelnut liquor, they also offered a variety of other high-quality liquors and local beverages like beer, cider, and sours. A visit to this place is a must for anyone in the area."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this family-friendly restaurant. We initially tried sitting in the nicely arranged outdoor seating area, but it was too windy so we moved inside. While looking through the diverse menu, we thought the prices were a bit high but not unreasonable. However, when our food arrived, we were blown away. The garlic knots appetizer came out quickly and were delicious. The small Caesar salad was huge, as was the fettuccini chicken alfredo. The hot hero meatball parmesan with a side of fries was much larger than expected. All three of us left feeling satisfied and even had leftovers packed up by our attentive waitress. Overall, it was a fantastic lunch with our granddaughter!"

"I have been to the disgruntled chef many times for breakfast and lunch to pick up a sandwich, salad, or some baked goods. For the first time, I decided to stop in for dinner and wow it did not disappoint. For our appetizer, we ordered the whipped ricotta, fig mostrada, Cippoloni onion, and mint as well as the Hot Crab Dip with Old Bay Shrimp Crackers. Both of these were very good and you could tell they were made with quality ingredients and care. For our main, we ordered Seared Cod, Peewee Potatoes, Chickpeas, Sweet Onions, Lemon Herb Sauce, and the brand new Bavette Steak, Duck Fat Potatoes, Broccoli Cheddar Purée, Horseradish (I was the first one to order the new dish). The two entrées were absolutely delicious with the new stake dish being a highlight for me. I would recommend stop by to try their dinner this will be one of our go-to spots after hiking or cycling on the mountain this summer."

"Ordered a meatball parm sub sandwich. Went up to get the grated cheese in the soda refrigerator and looked down at the track that the glass slides on and there were dead bugs in the track. I got the attention of one of the young girls who was working there and showed her the bugs. She cleaned them up. As I was checking out I was kidding with the girl and asked her if i got a discount for telling them about the bugs. She said she would ask the owner. Well the owner came over to me and was very NASTY.. he said he doesn't give discounts for that and (not in his exact words) said NO ONE ASKED YOU TO EAT HERE. Well he's right no one asked me to eat there but with his nasty attitude, and finding the bugs, I will never be back again."

"This is my Most Favorite Place to have very good Italian Food. I'm Italian and very picky I might add! I have to say Their Grandma's Pizza is The Best I've ever had!!! It's also my Favorite!!! I grew up on the Lower East side and I lived in the Hudson Valley for 32 years!! I've experienced pizza all around. They are Hands down the Best. The Chicken Quesadillas are out of this world too. The Shrimp Parmesan is very good baked stuffed Shells. Salads are fresh too. The Cobb Salad is huge. The Ingredients they use for their pizza are quality cheeses and sauce . The staff That Cooks it's all up are good at what they Do. Service is Very Good. They Do get very busy at times especially in the summer when the patio gets packed! you just have to be a little patient . It will be worth it. Prices are reasonable. I Highly recommend it , in the most Beautiful Town I think, in The Hudson Valley. This Restaurant, Trattoria is a Gem within it. I felt compelled to review it because I think it deserves more than 3 stars."
