"I was really disappointed with my recent experience at the restaurant. I ordered a full dozen doughnuts, but I only received 6 when I had actually paid for 13! Additionally, whenever I order coffee from their menu, the staff seem confused, as if it's the first time anyone has requested it. It feels like the employees really dislike their jobs. Overall, the service was quite lacking."

I had to order doughnuts four times because they are delicious. However, the selection leaves much to be desired. While their menu is extensive, they rarely have a variety of options available. Even if you request something specific, they will inform you that those items are currently unavailable.

This team is so nice! We just ordered some munchkins from here and they were out so they left a very nice note on the box and substituted it with some regular donuts. Super sweet, made our night. "I also got a side of fries that were served piping hot, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. I dined in, and despite the restaurant being busy with both dine-in and take-out orders, three different staff members checked on me, making sure everything was good and if I needed anything. My food arrived quickly, and I really enjoyed my lunch. I'll definitely be back for another visit!"

"My husband ordered my breakfast through take out and it was prepared promptly and put in the pick up window. He waited to be called to pickup and pay but never was called. After 20 minutes he walked up and asked the ladies if his order was ready and they handed him the order that was waiting (20 min). They never apologized for the oversight and he left. When he told me I replied that I have had that happen to me twice before and I think the staff is rude and disrespectful. Your service sucks and I don’t patronize your business because of your rudeness. The business that was there before you received the same complaints and eventually had to close. I have lived in the Lake since 2015 and the community has gotten rude, mean spirited and less hospitable. This is one example of this behavior."

"The food is passable for Mexican food but then again I'm originally from Texas so I find most Mexican food here in the Carolinas to be that way so that probably more on me than them. The issue I have here is the service on a good day it's mediocre at best and on a bad day it's terrible. Most of the time they won't even offer to refill your drink at all during the entire meal, which is a pet peeve of mine personally. The food comes out fast which is nice though and the atmosphere is fine especially on the patio when it's a nice day."

"Use to love this place before COVID and would go for lunch with my wife and enjoy a beautiful near date together. They are still closed to feed in Post COVID, which is now ridiculous, it is now almost 3 years. When will you open dining room. Some people like to just take the whole time, but this was a nice quick lunch option for me and my wife when one of us went to work but not anymore. I guess customers and service are no longer important, only the profits they can make without having to hire someone to serve people inside"

"I’m not sure what has changed since our many enjoyable visits, but during my most recent trip this past Saturday afternoon—months after my first negative experience (rancid crab rangoon)—there was no line at the drive-thru, and it was well before the busy hours. I ordered Crab Rangoon and two dinner plates: one combo with chicken and beef (upgraded to fillet) and one order of shrimp with shrimp sauce. I’ve attached pictures to show what we received. The chicken was dry, slightly burnt, and utterly tasteless. The beef filet was stringy, dry, and burnt as well. The carrots were either mushy or burnt and mushy, the rice was bland and extremely dried out, and the shrimp was stringy and dry. Our Rangoons were burnt to a crisp, with an extremely dry filling inside—completely inedible! When I tried to call and speak to a manager, the phone just kept ringing. It honestly felt like we were served leftovers from the previous day, reheated far too long. I'm truly disappointed, as this place used to be our go-to spot for quality takeout."
