"About 8:00 Friday night I called in for a take out order 3 eggs, scrambled side of bacon, home, fries, and toast. I also asked for a chicken salad sandwich. I should have known to check the bag. Even know I repeated the order to Melissa on the phone and I still had to ask did she put grape jelly in my bag and the answer was oh I’m sorry I forgot I’ll get it right away. Well when I got home I had a chicken salad sandwich. I got three eggs scrambled instead of bacon I got burnt ham and no toast I called and I asked for Melissa, she’s the one I actually answered the phone again and I told her what happened and she says if I want come back for the bacon and toast now I live 20 minutes away why would I come back for bacon and toast? Meanwhile the eggs and home fries were going to be ice cold and she rudely hung up on me because she doesn’t care so please when you do take out at the ditches diner always check because your order will be screwed up shame on me. This was the second time I thought maybe a year had passed and I didn’t need to check the order but shame on me. To top it off, the diner was empty maybe 10 people in there"

The food here is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. While it is a diner, it's definitely one of the better options in the area, much superior to the Red Line Diner in Fishkill. I dined in for dinner and found both the food and service to be perfectly rated at 5 out of 5, along with the atmosphere. Highly recommended! Voir le carte

Enjoyed lunch here. Food was excellent, very clean, spotless diner. Service was good except after we got the checks, we were kind of ignored by the server. Owner of diner very sweet helpful at the end and very accommodating. I would encourage servers in all restaurant's to continue with their service until the customers walk out.

This diner was enjoyable, but it could really use some improvements soon. The food was tasty, although the prices were higher than we anticipated. It wasn't very busy during our visit, and the service could be enhanced a bit. On the plus side, it has a great location with plenty of parking available, and there are many attractions nearby to explore.
