The food is excellent, particularly the shaved corned beef on the Reuben. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

It goes without saying that the restaurant had a local vibe. On a Friday night, there was only one other couple there, and they were in their 80s.

The food is just average on a good day. The short ribs are tough, and the salmon is dry. I recommend trying the steak sandwich; it seems to be the best option on the menu. Voir le carte

For our date night with my husband, we had a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. I visited for the first time and ordered the stuffed pork chop, while my friend had the lobster risotto. Both dishes were delicious! The only reason I rated it 3 stars is because the ambiance was lacking, and they only provided paper napkins. For $36 entrees, I expected linen napkins! Because of this, I would likely consider takeout if I decide to return.

My friends and I visited the North Fork for a wine tasting weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday, and there were ten of us in total. We absolutely loved everything we ordered at East on Main. The chicken sandwich was particularly outstanding—truly the best you’ll ever have! The fried pickles, steak bites, chicken dumplings, mozzarella squares, and truffle fries were all delicious too. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by East on Main for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed!

We pass this place all time. Finally decided to come back after having it at a catered event last night. (Which was very good) I was pleasantly surprised that the Italian was good coming from a place that you would expect to be more of a steak house. I hadthe mozzarella square. Loved the pesto they put on it. I decided to get the mushroom raviolis expecting it to be salty and mushybut it was fabulous! Better then some of the local Italian joints. Perfectly el dente… not salty and love the peas they put infor added texture. The sauce was nice and creamy. I would order it again for sure.
