My first visit was this morning. The staff were friendly, the bakery was clean. The food and coffee is delicious! I bought the potato and onion quiche with a side salad, a rye bread round, and a coco latte ? . All was fresh, my first visit, not my last ?

This bakery is really good, they have the best croissants and coffee in Sacramento! I’m French and I know what a good croissant is! I went there on a day that they were closed but this guy named Mahbod gave me some pastries because I came from a long way! Thank you!

Holy heck. I just bought the baguette, whole grain loaf, and the olive loaf and haven’t been able to stop eating them since I brought it home. First olive for savory almost bacon like flavor then whole grain for some balance and neutrality and baguette to follow it up with its tantalizing caramelized crust and perfect pockets. Really amazing work Faria. I have not had such delicious and thoughtfully baked bread in my life. I’ll be a lifetime customer after this!

Few times I've visited to pick up bread. I can say I've baked better. The bread was overbaked and charred. Literally hard to bite into. I wanted to give this place a try but every time I go its the same result. I see the same in other review photos. Some people feel its ok to eat? Its charred and functions like a brick.PS. Very professional response. That would surely make people feel better about visiting your bakery. Definitely sharing the amusing interaction. Hahah. Good luck.

After reading so many good things about this bakery we decided to check it out. What a disappointment. The fare is incredibly overpriced for what you get $13 for a small loaf of bread?! The quality is seriously lacking: the almond croissant dripping with grease; the coffee cake too dense and slightly stale. But the kicker was the whole wheat bread. It looks nice but the crust was ridiculously hard and thick. Our very sharp bread knife could barely cut through it and when we were finally able to saw off a slice the flavor was blah. Whenever I'm in Sacramento, I make sure to stop by Faria for a loaf. There's a German expression for craft bread with a particular crust that fits here: "sie backen durch," meaning they bake all the way through. If you love a fresh, crusty bread with a burst of flavors when you chew, this is the place for you. However, if you prefer lighter, fluffier bread, this might not be to your taste. By the way, the coffee was fantastic! I'm not sure what they use, but it reminded me of Temple or Blue Bottle coffee. It made for an excellent pairing with their incredible bread.

During my recent visit to the bakery for a quick lunch, I encountered a significant issue. As a disabled person accompanied by a service animal, I found the manager's behavior to be more disrespectful than anything I have experienced throughout my time with a service dog. Having visited their other locations, I have always had positive experiences regarding both service and food. Unfortunately, this time was different. I was questioned intrusively about the legitimacy of my service animal, and the manager was misinformed about ADA standards and laws concerning service animals in her industry. Wandering around the Oak Park neighborhood on a sunny Sunday afternoon, I happened upon Faria Bakery. Immediately taken by the bakery's homey interior and stepped in without hesitation. Faria Bakery is a true Sacramento gem which got its start right in the heart of Oak Park and has since expanded to two brick and mortar locations in Oak Park and Folsom, while still attending neighborhood farmer's markets as well. For those who want some hands on experiences, Faria Bakery also offers classes at both of their locations.I'll also mention that the bakery's only open from 8am to 3pm, so if you go a little later in the day (as I did around 2pm or so) then it may be slim pickings (but to be honest...
