"everything about this place was excellent from ambiente to eating and even waiting staff. I ordered the pulled schweinemac and cheese that came out in an ENORMOUS part and was the most creamy mac and cheese I've ever had. of smokey taste of drawn pork, it was really an experience. I also ordered her **** mary to supplement my meal and it was so delicious. the tomato taste was accompanied by a slightly smoky taste that completely surprised me. this delicious concoction was filled by no other than drawn pork filled green olives that are heaven in and by themselves. if they are looking for a delicious kansas city bbq, they don't see."

"I ordered a few raw half-shell oysters and some Rockefeller oysters. Both were good, but I felt the Rockefeller could have been better. The flavor was on point, but it had additional ingredients beyond the oysters, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just not to my taste. As for the decor, I was really impressed. The flavor of the oysters themselves was exceptional. I initially wanted to try some steamed shellfish, but the preparation method wasn’t something I was familiar with, and I preferred to stick to more traditional preparations (I tend to lean towards white wine and light broth rather than heavier tomato-based ones). My dining companion ordered an appetizer that we had high hopes for, but it was somewhat underwhelming given the price, which is why I’m giving the restaurant four stars instead of five. We didn’t feel the need to bring it up with the staff since we’ve learned what not to order next time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return in the future!"

"We also appreciated the option to sample eight-ounce beers during our first visit; we discovered several varieties that we really enjoyed. The beer selection was great, with some darker options that were smooth and not bitter, making them a pleasure to drink. At $3.50 each, the pricing was reasonable, and we loved being able to share a 'flight' of beers without those tiny glasses—it worked out perfectly. The meatballs were superb, and there was a nice selection of spirited drinks at the bar. We also enjoyed watching the Chiefs game, as there were plenty of TVs and comfy seating available. The staff provided excellent service, making our experience even better. I appreciated having a reservation since it can be tough for us older folks to wait for thirty minutes for a table. The restrooms were clean, and the menu offered great variety, including sandwiches and appetizers. We will definitely be returning!"

"I won’t return. Mushrooms were burnt. Took way too long get my food and then I had to ask twice for the coke I ordered, and one of the cooks came up from the back and handed me a tiny cup of coke; about the size of cup you get at the water cooler at work. But the WORST was that it was 815 when I got my food that I DID NOT order to go/ carry out. The woman taking orders at the counter told me I was not able to eat there and that three dining area was closed because they were trying to leave/close. Keep in mind that their business hours on the weekend say they close at 9 p.m. I told her I didn’t order to go and that I came there expecting to dine in and that I didn’t want to take it home because everything would be cold by then and she begrudgingly told me that “If” I was able to eat my meal in under 45 I could eat there. The wings were decent, Hooter’s and Wild Wings are both much better. The fried fish was good. I ordered seasoned fries and got regular plain ones instead but by then I wasn’t about to ask them to correct it. Also, the mushrooms were 100% a waste since I tried one and then left the entire order on the counter without even asking for a refund. They were that bad. I couldn’t believe they had the balls to serve then when I saw how overcooked they were.
