"I not more do not leave bad reviews, and you can read many I have written on here. I want to tell you this review would have been a 4 star review off the bat, but it all crumbled for me when after a fantastic time the front manager came to our table saying we had been here way over their 90 min limit which I never even knew existed. I told her we were actually waiting for our check to come back and had already given our money. I might add this place is not cheap and for two people out bill was well into $100 for taco, apps, and 2 margaritas. Our waitress never even asked us if we wanted dessert. On top of that this was my first time here. We had reservations. I hadn't seen my friend in years and we had a lot of catching up to do. I have never in all my life been told there was a time limit for a table to eat dinner anywhere. I do not like that rule either. If you go to dinner you want to talk and have time to eat and relish your drinks and maybe even a dessert if there is room. Especially when you are throwing down hard earned money and tipping well and accounting for the time in that tip of how long you have been occupying their table. When we told the manager we were leaving and just waiting on our checks, which I might add she was very pleasant about, it just rubbed me wrong that they even felt the need to come up to anyone and do that at all ever. She replied of course we don't want you to leave; I didn't want to give that impression we just wanted to move you to the bar. I turned to look at the bar as we left and laughed with my friend how that never would have even been possible either as the bar was completely full. Anytime I go to a restaurant if a table is not available they make you wait and/ or you just decide to go somewhere else which is exactly what happened another weekend while out with friends on water street in Naperville. No restaurant is ever going to ask you to move yourself to a bar because you have been there too long to eat, and others are waiting. Now the food was great. I loved the guacamole with pineapple habanero so much. The tacos were delicious too. Like I said I can't speak on the dessert since we were never offered to look or get anything. The margaritas were unique and tasty. Others have commented that there was no alcohol. I disagree with that completely. a sign of a good drink is that you really cannot taste the alcohol. These were very good drinks. We had stayed longer only because we were having fun, we had ordered a second margarita, and it was a torrential downpour outside. We had courageously ventured out that night to meet up not knowing basically tornado weather and flooding streets would ensue on our way there. Knowing what I know now about their 90 min limit I would not return for dinner ever, but may just eat at the bar for a drink and appetizer until my table for dinner becomes available elsewhere. Plus it is very very loud to hear your friends which is why it also probably took longer than usual to talk or yell over the table to them. I definitely agree with another review on here about them needing a much bigger space. Maybe then they can trash their 90 min table rule which to me again is completely ridiculous. I understand others want to eat, but this place is not taco bell. It is a restaurant with high priced food drinks. Even an appetizer is as much as an entree if not more. The average price for your dinner plate is $15-21 that is just the dinner meal. Basically, They want you to spend $21 on a meal and $11+ on an appetizer, $11+ on your drinks. So in conclusion, the way this can become a 5 star review in the future: 1. Get a bigger space! Then you can nix the 90 min rule, it won't be so loud, and you will have more tables. Obviously, people have fun and like it here. 2. I feel like I should add since this is a corporate chain restaurant the person looking for a location to put this place did the company a huge disservice. 3. Put on your website their is a 90 minute table limit as well as at the door. Tell us when we make reservat"

arroz a la tumbada was delicious, seafood was fresh and well balanced. purple basilikum margarita was perfectly refreshing. in any case, it's nice to eat here again. friendly, cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff!

Loved the Jicama Margarita and it was refreshing enjoying it on the patio. We were able to get one of the coveted seats in this small space. They were extra busy and despot the slower service we were able to enjoy our time.

Saturday night is full, but I love the energy and mood. Everyone looks like they just have a good time. the bartender and the staff are super friendly and courteous. eating was excellent service was fast. you need to book a table when you go there with a bigger group. drink prices are not bad and they are very good. I had an excellent experience at Fat Rosie's!! I can here for an impromptu date night with my partner. Jorge greeted us immediately and was very friendly. We started with the Mango Habanero guacamole. Sweet spicy and delicious! I had the Al Pastor and Pollo tacos. She had the Veggie Super burrito. Everything was amazing. We finished up with some Churros. The dolce du leche sauce still he me drooling. Jorge is great!! Recommend his section next time you're here and give him all of your money!!!

We had a fantastic time at Fat Rosie's! If you haven't been, you definitely need to check out one of their many locations! The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the steak, and it was perfectly spiced and tender. Kudos to Chef Alex! The drinks were expertly crafted, and the service was top-notch! By the end of our visit, it felt like we had known Bella forever, and it truly felt like a big family atmosphere. I was impressed by the attentive staff, which is something you don't see often these days. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to visit a new location soon!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was disappointed with the food quality. While the dishes looked decent on camera, they lacked flavor. I ordered the kater torta based on the server's recommendation, but I now wish I had chosen something else from the brunch menu. I was eager to try brunch here as it seemed promising, but I regret not spending my money elsewhere. My friend felt similarly about her enchiladas. On a positive note, the atmosphere and service were pleasant—my server frequently checked in on us—but the music was a bit too loud. What a great, vibrant Mexican cantina in downtown Naperville. Always drive by but never stopped till now.Lunch time on a Fri was crazy busy, but we scored a table. Since it's right next to North Central College we may have been experiencing graduation and finals patrons which led to the great vibes.Fun for options and really enjoyed the warm chips and yummy salsa.Ground beef burrito had quite a bit of rice as a filler which was a little disappointing, but could be authentic to the region they are trying to honor.Mini masa cups appetizer was perfect size for lunch, but may want to try different fillings. The best margaritas in the suburbs! Fat Rosie's has a bright and energetic atmosphere. I came for the delicious tacos but found myself thinking about the unforgettable margaritas. It's conveniently located next to Barnes and Noble and the Washington St parking garage. For dinner, we had three tacos each, pineapple guacamole, and chips with salsa, along with blackberry purple basil and strawberry jalapeño margaritas. The chips and salsa were served warm, and the standout taco flavor was the cauliflower.
