"First time visit to the Hickory House and it won 't be the last! Stopped by on a Saturday evening and was told it would be a 20-40 min wait to be seated. We were seated in 20 min. Our server Alexis was just fantastic. Very attentive, super friendly and considerate of her coworkers. The wait for the food after ordering was average for how busy the restaurant was. The food however was far from average. Everything was excellent! From the sweet butter and crunchy bread to the perfectly prepared, smoky, moist, huge rack of ribs, no detail was missed.The BBQ sauce itself, had about 4 distinct flavors...that 's a sauce made with care. The loaded baked potato is a delicious, cheesy smoked bacon, homemade sour cream and chive topped, meal by itself! The atmosphere is charming, relaxing and clean. All staff encountered were friendly and attentive. Prices are about average for excellent BBQ. The Hickory House is definitely on my go to list for exceptional food and service!"

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I live nearby and had initially thought it was just a bar, but it actually has more of a sports bar vibe. The place was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered boneless wings, pizza, nachos, and loaded fries. The wings were well-cooked and the sauce was tasty, and the pizza exceeded my expectations. The nachos were enjoyable, although the ratio of toppings to chips could be improved, but the fries were very satisfying. Our server was excellent when it came to keeping our drinks filled; I never had to face an empty glass during our visit, and the Long Island iced teas were some of the best I've had. As someone who prefers not to sit in booths, I really appreciated the variety of seating options, both short and tall tables. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit and will definitely be returning."

"We 've been going here for a few years and have NEVER had a bad meal. This is AUTHENTIC Nepalese/Indian food not the American version . We always order too much and then force ourselves to eat it all because it 's so good. Tip: If you want to try something other than mainstays like butter chicken, tikka masala, or tandoori chicken (ALL GREAT, BTW), try the chicken mint kebabs! I tried them on a whim and now order them EVERY TIME. I would recommend these to anyone, but especially for someone who isn 't sure about Nepalese/Indian food. Also, eat in. Talk to your server about heat levels, and just enjoy some time talking. Your meal will be relaxing and you will have lots of time to eat, talk, and enjoy the experience."

"I have been craving really good Indian food and have tried a few others in the area that have been good, but not REALLY good. I was blown away by the Chicken Korma I had here. I've had Indian food in Seattle, New York City, Nashville, Pittsburgh, and others in Columbus and this is the standout. I am going to try a Nepalese dish next time, but all the food going out to the tables looked amazing so I'm sure it will not disappoint. The service was great (bonus points for not judging a guy in a cowboy hat for eating alone at an Indian restaurant) and he told me a little bit about the history of the business. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. I wish I had found it sooner, but the silver lining is that it is close to my house. Full marks however you scale it (10/10, 100/100, 1,000/1,000). "There's an eat in and a drive-thru here! I need a special diet, and when I found this place I tried it out. They are even able to leave off the gyro sauce if requested for those lactose intolerant. I was amazed by the options and fresh taste of all the food I've eaten here on my hiatal hernia diet. Thank you for taking great care in your work!"
