"If you want to find, arguably, the best bandeja paisa in Miami, this just might be the place. Not your typical hole in the wall, cheap eats but definitely a quaint and enjoyable sit down experience. Ventured here after my craving got too intense and I went to old faithful Yelp for guidance. Although relatively new, the pictures of the food really sold me and I brought some hungry souls along with me. We ordered some empanadas Colombianas, super fresh and steaming hot! The sauces they serve them with was also perfect. For entrees, we went with a Calentado Paisa the Bandeja Paisa (this one was twice the price but very hearty and more than enough for two good eaters). We also each went with some natural juices fruit limonadas coconut lime sounds odd but it works! I opted to not give the full 5 stars because of several reasons that I think they can easily fix: 1. Nicely and simply decorated but little ambiance overall adding a little authentic Colombian music or more cultural touches could help 2. The waiter was nice but kept trying to push more and more on us... even mentioning that the bandeja paisa was a decent portion but not enough for two people (it was actually more than enough and we both left stuffed) 3. Ordered a sancocho de res and although taste wasn't bad, the meat was rough and you could tell coloring had been added seems like a typical case of not having had enough time to cook it properly as it does take hours to make a proper sancocho Quality of the food is evident and I will definitely be going back to fix my next craving!"

"For starters, we selected a reservation via Open Table for a standard seating, but we’re seated at the bar; do not know why! Then, the tables for two in the bar area are so close, that the severs almost sit over the next table to serve us! Another issue is that I don’t know why the prices are so high, while the portions of food are very small and not hot enough, to the point I had to give my wife some of my lobster from the ravioli I ordered, as her Stone Crab and Chitarra had only three small pieces of crab (with residues of hard shell that almost caused my wife to lose a molar . Also, my wife ordered a starter that they came and told us later they did not have it, so she had to order something different. They should had take out of the menu. Drinks were very expensive (one small cup of Pinot Noir cost $22, while my scotch a 14 year old Balvinie, was $30, and the portion was really not even an ounce, although I ordered it neat! . The valet parking was really good and the parking attendant was very kind person! All in all, the only thing we really liked of the dinner time was what we got to see from the physical place, and the attention of our server, which was awesome! Nothing else was up to our standards…and we are used to go to really good places! We don’t plan to go again!"

"Managed to get in free using MDPLS. Small museum but has much in store for you. 2 limited time events were going on during my visit, including a private art collection. There was also history on Coral Gables and how the iconic buildings around the area came to be. Interesting fun facts about the city again, would go again with other relatives."

"Ils savent que vous êtes dans un bon endroit authentique lorsque la nourriture vous emmène littéralement chez votre grand-mère lorsque vous êtes enfant. La soupe aux haricots noirs avait cette fantastique combinaison d'ingrédients que je n'ai trouvée que dans la cuisine de ma grand-mère. Cette soupe en elle-même valait le détour. L'entrée d'espadon était très bonne et le pisco sour était fantastique (je sais que le pisco sour n'est pas mexicain mais c'était vraiment très rafraîchissant et parfaitement mélangé). En termes de prix, vous êtes à New York ... »assez dit."

"Everything was great except our server. I do not believe he was attentive. My husband had to remind him three times to bring him a cup of ice for his coke. Then when our food was brought to the table, my husband’s side was incorrect. He didn’t come over to make sure everything was fine until about minutes later. I had to ask the hostess and she changed out the side for my husband in less than two minutes. Dwight, our server finally came to check on us after we were literally bites from finishing our food. He was very attentive with the table across from us but barely gave us the time. But when we asked for the check, all of a sudden he’s standing right there wanting to make conversation. Not a great experience at all. Even while picking up our dinner plates, he lets the silverware fall in he plate which could have caused the pasta sauce to spill on me. I would go back, but I’d definitely make sure he’s not our server"
