"We love Fairfax Coffee House. I feel 100% going inside due to their Covid precautions mask requirements. The owners and employees are so nice and welcoming. All the coffees and food we got from them were great. You're making a big irony dirty chai. We recently rented the cinema for a birthday party, then we had sandwiches and cakes in the coffee house. They let us do this after the coffee house was closed for the day. Trey was so great. She took part and made the day special. She didn't even bother the sugary children. The Coffee Shop also has an amazing selection of games for sale, and Trey is great to make recommendations. The only negative part of the coffee house is the fact that it is not closer to our house, but it is a great treat when we go to the cabin for weekends. Pictures of some games we bought from them, my beloved dirty chai, Bday lunch set up, and their window."

"If you're in Berkeley Springs, you must stop at Tari's for lunch or dinner. Right on the main drag, Tari's serves fresh, high quality foods with a sophisticated and delicious menu. We sat in the bar area which has a really relax cool vibe, sort of hipster mixed with artsy, local vibes. I've travel to a f ton of places and lived in a few counties outside of the USA, and I must say their Farmers Market Linguine might have been one of the best dishes I've ever had. Might sound like a hype but it's true."

"I had read some other reviews that I didn't agree with. Regarding the taxidermy on display, yes, there were taxidermied animals, but they were situated behind the bar and up high—just keep your eyes down and you’ll be fine. As for the biker bar vibe, there's a lovely winding road outside that attracts bikers, and yes, there were some hillbilly guests, but honestly, they were all friendly! Welcome to Almost Heaven! The menu was quite limited, reminding me of the scene in *My Cousin Vinny* where the choices were simply breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The options were printed in large font, yet they expanded the menu across more pages when they could have condensed it to one double-sided sheet. A shorter menu would lead to quicker order times. The music featured classic country hits from legends like Alan Jackson, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, which I loved! The bartender, who also served as our waitress, did a great job of keeping an ear out for us, even while she was preparing for the day. We arrived early, and despite still getting ready, she was attentive to our needs. There were two pool tables available with no charge, which was a nice touch. Now, onto the food—my steak sandwich was an issue. It looked great with fresh bread and lightly melted cheese, but it was overly greasy, possibly because the fried onions and mushrooms had been deep fried without any breading. It left me feeling quite ill. My wife ordered the wings, and while she thought they were just okay, she mentioned that they fell apart after one bite, even though the sauce had a nice kick. For my review, I’d rate the place a three out of five."

"I was away for the weekend with friends and we decided to find a restaurant in Berkeley Springs. The décor is so fun! We went on a night when a piano player was there nice touch. I was craving a margarita and the waitress recommended their house margarita not a fan they put orange juice in it not good. I ordered the burger and fries it was good. The waitress was also the bartender, so our service was awful I think we were there an hour and a half total and the waitress only stopped at our table maybe three times to get our order, to deliver our food, and eventually after a long wait, to hand us our check. We went without some of the condiments we really wanted because of this. Even if she would have let us know in advance that she was also bartending, we could have gotten up and gone to the bar to ask her for items but we were in another room and didn't realize it until we were leaving. We did appreciate that this restaurant was open later than many of the other restaurants in town."

"Second time at Lot 12, and still an unreal experience. We’ve eaten in restaurants around the world, some Michelin, and this competes! Just phenomenal. Great wine list, incredible service and romantic ambiance. I got the salmon bruschetta appetizer and hubs got the pulled pork eggs rolls both were delicious (we’d put that apple butter bbq sauce on everything if we could.. . The lobster is out of this world, and country fried short rib special insane. We shared a port and took the lemon ricotta cheesecake back to our hotel, where we happily gorged that evening. Thanks to Becky for being so fun and helpful, we had an amazing time. Can’t wait to come back! This spot is VERY much worth going out of your way for. Stay in a local inn for the night and indulge!"
