Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

The pizza here is fantastic! I particularly love the Foxon’s soda. The crust is thin and crispy, and it's cooked perfectly, which I really appreciate.

The renowned Frank Pepe's pizza chain is famous for its Neapolitan-style pizza, which not only refers to the way the pizza is made, but also how it is sliced.

I visited the restaurant yesterday with a friend who is a huge fan of Frank Pepe's. We arrived shortly before noon on a Monday and found the restaurant to be empty. We asked the server for a table. Voir le carte

This restaurant serves the best pizza I have ever tasted. The crust is crispy, chewy, and delicious with an amazing char on the edges. In my opinion, New Haven pizza beats New York City pizza any day.

This pizza is total trash. I ordered a large regular and a large half broccoli half chicken. The regular pizza was way too greasy and the chicken with broccoli. I don’t know just horrible. You can have better pizza anywhere

Man if I ever become a serial killer and they ask me what my last meal would be before they un alive me . It would have to be from here ‍. The gold standard! I didn't even know there was a location in Yonkers; I've only been to the original in Connecticut. Now that I know there's a Pepe's on my way back to the city from nearly every spot north of Manhattan, that's a bit risky! Last night, I single-handedly polished off three-quarters of a large pizza—half meatball, half pepperoni— and I wasn't even that hungry. The service is fantastic as well. Truly legendary!

The pizza I received was cold—it wasn't even warm, and I picked it up just 15 minutes after placing my order. I had requested that the pizza not be charred, but it was covered in black soot from the bottom of the oven, both on top of the cheese and underneath the crust. It even got on my hands while I was eating it. This isn't acceptable, and it seems like there needs to be some oversight because something clearly isn't right here.

When it's good, it's incredible. Thin but thick, crispy, perfect cheese and sauce, oh, just amazing.... But it's not always good. The last 4 times I visited, it's been a different type of pizza. This time was greasy, floppy and bland like they forgot salt, the last time was too thin and overcooked. If they could be consistent, this would be one of my all time favorite pizza spots but it's a mixed bag for sure. Especially for the price, it's very hard to justify 2 large pies costing $70.
