Fratelli's Bagel Express

Their bagels and breakfast sandwiches are absolutely fantastic! The bagels are enormous, and they offer a wide variety of flavors. Make sure to grab some cream cheese to take with you!

I ordered a mushroom panini and a bagel with birthday cake-flavored cream cheese. Both dishes were absolutely amazing! I will definitely return for lunch. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. I had a wonderful lunch overall!

I made a quick stop here on my way to the Port Jefferson ferry, and I was really impressed. This restaurant serves fantastic bagels—I had an everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, and it was delicious. I had to give this restaurant a one-star rating. The bagels are excessively sweet, particularly when consumed plain. They appear to have a significantly higher calorie count than standard bagels and taste more like a dessert than actual bread. There's a distinct aftertaste of artificial sweetener as well. While they may look like bagels, they certainly don’t taste like traditional bagels.

The menus are detailed in the ingredients used and contained for each breakfast item. The services was great. They have multiple people at the counter to make sure that your order is taken. Some of the bagels are quite large, so make sure you know how muchyou can eat. Although, you can also take the extra out with you. There are seating in the diner. The seating are clean andsimple, nothing too extravagant. Check out the place when you have the chance. My club had ordered dozens of bagels from hereand they were always delicious!

Good to great sandwiches (depending on who makes it). Sometimes different employees can make the same sandwich a 3.5/5 good or a 5/5 home run. Home fries are the best around. My issue is not the food but the flow. When you walk in you don 't really knowwhere to go, and goddam is it hard to ask during peak times. Lots of people stand around on the wrong lines and hold up thesmooth flow of business in the morning. A carpet with an arrow saying 'order here ' and a sign for 'Pick Ups ONLY ' wouldmore than fix the people flow. I've noticed a growing number of 1-star reviews, and after reading them, I can see why. Many customers have voiced their complaints about the unfriendly staff at this restaurant. My fiancée and I moved to New York a few years ago and have enjoyed stopping by Bagel Express for breakfast from time to time. The owner is very pleasant. However, when my fiancée went to pick up two dozen bagels for our Thanksgiving gathering, she had a disappointing experience. Even though she arrived early to ensure there would be enough bagels, the man behind the counter gave her an unpleasant look and made a sarcastic remark to another customer about "out of towners."
